Carina's POV
The ride back home was quite funny, I told her bout my day and so did she. Even tho of course I didn't mention the fact I saw her kissing that Noah guy. I thought about the fact if I should tell Maya about it. Not for her to tell anything to Mia, just for her to know.
As we got home and walked in we found Maya on the phone pacing back and forth and as soon as she saw us she hanged it. I looked at her quite confused and she made a sign she would explain later. Mia headed to her room to get showered and I got close to Maya.
Maya's POV
It was my mother, she had called me. Telling me she felt sorry, guilty and that she couldn't sleep at nights due to what she had done.
"Bella..." began Carina
"Not just that" I sighted "Even tho she feels guilty, and sorry, and the whatever she said. She's not going to do anything about it" I said and Carina looked at me in total confusion
"Maya I... I don't understand" she said
"Lane, he doesn't feel anything, he just doesn't care. And my mother even tho she's feeling that way she's not going to go against Lane" I explained
"Not even for her own daughter" Carina asked shocked and I shook my head "Maya..." she said
"no no, it's. It's okay" I nodded and in seconds Carina was hugging me tightly not letting me go.
Carina's POV
Poor thing, both of them. I couldn't believe what I was listening. Knowing her own parents didn't care about Mia. How could they. She didn't deserve it.
"Maya she is not alone. She's got us, she's always going to have us." I said and she nodded still wrapped around my arms
"I just, I try for it to make sense and I just can't. Can't find a way in which in can make sense." she said
"It doesn't, it makes no sense. It just doesn't" I said feeling so sad and the saddness in Maya could be felt. Knowing your parents have literally abandonned your sister.
"It sucks" said Maya pulling apart and placing a kiss on my cheek as she sat down on the couch.
As we were talking we heard Mia coming into the living room and I instantly noticed how Maya changed her face and pulled a happy one, to make Mia feel happy. To show nothing was wrong.
"Hey!" she said "we want to know everything" she said excitedly "oh! and the video! I need to have it" she said
Mia's POV
After telling them everything about the match and talking about random stuff. I couldn't take out of my mind the fact that Noah wanted to meet them. And that I should tell them I was actually seeing him. But on the other hand, I wasn't even sure I wanted to be involved in a serious relationship.
"tomorrow after school you feeling like going over to the station?" asked Maya as we placed the table
"yeah" I said excitedly
As we were sitting in the table talking about tomorrow Maya said "you know we could get started with driving classes"
"really?" I asked excitedly
"yeah, of course" she said
"I'm an amazing driving instructor" said Carina
"no you're not" laughed Maya
"okay just cause you drive a big truck? That doesn't mean I don't know how to drive a car" she laughed back
"fine, you're a good driver" said Maya and Carina nodded "even tho I'm an amazing driver" she said
