New Step

Three months later everything was back on its track.
Mia was fully discharged and 100% back, started her internship at Station 19.

Maya and Carina began IVF and Carina was successfully pregnant. Being at her third month.

Maya's POV
"Mia come on move!" I yelled as I jogged into the living room

"going going!" she yelled as she jogged after me

"Mia jacket!" said Carina from the kitchen "it's freezing cold outside"

"come on, jacket" I said and she nodded as she headed back "thank you" I said to Carina as I blew a kiss over to her.

We got down to the parking lot and I threw my keys over to Mia

"come on don't make me regret it" I said as I hopped on the passengers sit

"we could go in my bike you know?" she said as she turned on the engine

"don't even joke about it" I said as I turned on the radio

"I'm not liking this music" she said as we made our way

"i'm the co-pilot" I said "music is on me"

Mia's POV
This days had been great, I started doing my internship at 19 with Maya, been on drives with her, Andy and Carina which meant I was quite close to getting my license soon

Noah and I had been on several dates now and were definitely turning into something more serious.

"my favorite sisters" said Andy as we walked in

"hey Andy" I said as she walked over hugging me

"I missed you around" she said

"I know I know" I said "someone didn't let me come down here until I finished my exams" I said turning to Maya

"that someone is right here" Said Maya "and I stand by my own choice"

"yeah sure" I said

Andy chuckled as she looked back at Maya "oh Maya Maya, old grownup sister Maya" she said

"exactly" smiled Maya as she walked up to her office "I'll be upstairs if you need me, behave and listen to Andy"

"alright, give me a hand up on the engines" said Andy and I followed her into the barn "up you go" she said as she opened the ladder

Andy's POV
I was quite impressed with Maya. How she was handling the whole situation.
First with Mia and now with the whole baby thing. She was a completely different person

"ready" she said as she was about to hop off and I caught her by her shirt

"oh god" said Vic as she came into the barn jogging over to place the ladder for us

"hey hey wait no" I said pulling her back "hey wait you can't just jump off like that"

"oh sorry" she said as she looked down noticing how tall it actually was

"here" said Vic as she held the ladder

"please I don't want to be murdered by Maya" I said as I came down after her

"sorry I really didn't realize" she said

"it's okay" said Vic "just keep in mind, if you needed a ladder to get up you might as well need it to get down"

"sounds reasonable" she smiled

"hello beautiful" I said as I opened my laptop where I was on facetime with Carina
