How Things Go

Mia's POV
I made my way into the pitch as I saw Maya and Carina walking up to the grandstands
"Ready Bishop?" Asked the coach and I nodded "I've heard some miracles you've performed at national trainings" he said
I blushed up and walked into the changing rooms to get changed.

Carina's POV
I loved it. Match hadn't even started, but I loved it. I could see Maya who was sitting down next to me extremely excited. She was just thrilled as she looked everywhere.
"So?" She asked as she looked at me
"I'm loving this" I smiled "and your face tells me you're quite thrilled" I said
"I'm just happy to see her again playing with no pressure" she said as she smiled and I placed my hand on her thigh

Mia's POV
After we warmed up we walked into the pitch. The sportsfans got up and cheered and I managed to spot Carina and Maya from among the crowd. They seemed to be quite happy and both of them were standing clapping as they tried to spot me out.

Maya's POV
The match began. God I was nervous. No clue why but I was quite nervous. Seems like my sport girl instinct is still inside. I could see Carina next to me who was kinda infected by me and was cheering non stop as Mia's team got the ball.
There quite a lot of parents around and us and some young guys looking in the same grandstand we were.
They were losing 1-0 and Mia stole the ball and made a run for the goal
"Go Mia go" I murmured as I saw Carina cheering
As she shot the ball the keeper made a nice save and Mia looked at the floor almost cursing it
"Nice Mia!" Yelled Carina cheering
"Nice shot Mia go!" Yelled a young guy from behind me
I crossed a look with Carina and turned to look at the guy as the bell rang. Half time.
"Hey Maya bishop" I introduced myself as the guy looked at me
"Hey, it's a pleasure. You're Mia's sister right?" He asked as he shook my hand
"Yeah that's right" I said looking at Carina "you're?" I asked
"Oh sorry. I'm Noah. I'm Mia's friend" he smiled and Carina looked at me lifting up her eyebrow. The awkward moment was interrupted by the bell again which indicated that the second half began.

NBDYS POV
After 25 minutes Mia's team scored a goal. Penalty goal. They were at a tie.
As the other team almost scored a goal Mia stole the ball again making a second run for it. She ran through the whole pitch, goal to goal as she approached the keeper. Running against the clock. As she ran towards the goal she feigned she was going left and quickly shot towards the goal making the ball which was going so fast and hard bounce against the net. The goal keeper jumped over to Mia trying to cover the ball, but got there late. Instead she accidentally tackled Mia making her knee twist and falling on top of it.
The whole grandstands yelled and cheered loudly as the bell rang for the match fo finish. Maya and Carina hugged each other as the young guys standing next to them cheered Mia's name.

Carina's POV
We were both amazed, just amazed on that last move which ended up being goal. Maya's face was lit up. She kept on cheering and clapping and hugging me.
Between all the cheering and yelling I managed to see several people running towards the pitch top speed and a small crowd was being formed close by to where Mia had scored.
"Maya?" I asked as I grabbed her arm and tried to show her
"What?" She asked confused
The young guys standing behind us were standing on a higher step and after noticing what was happening Noah called out for Maya
"Maya" he said as he pointed at the pitch "Mia's down, she's the one on the floor" he said and maya turned to me in quite a panicked face before rushing down the grandstands top speed followed by me.

Maya's POV
I froze once I heard Mia was the one down. As I made room between everyone on the grandstands I noticed the small crowd around someone and in seconds I was rushing down into the pitch
"Here here" I heard a male voice who managed to open the gate to the pitch. It was Noah.
I nodded and as fast as I could I rushed into the pitch and towards this crowd
In the middle of the crowd Mia was laying down on the floor her knee tucked to her chests and holding it as she cried
"Bishop bishop" I heard the couch saying as he crouched next to her "Mia" he said as he tried to move her hands off her knee
"N...-o no... no" she cried while on the floor not letting go her knee
In seconds I had Carina on my side who looked down at Mia and her working skills went on as she rushed to her side and crouched down.
"Bishop" said the sport doctor as they managed to get her hands out of the way and almost extended her leg and a painful yell came as she grabbed her head with her hands
I saw how Carina looked at me and shook her head seriously after she had seen the knee. She quickly got up and grabbed her phone as she called someone.
I rushed down to Mia "hey hey" I said "we've got you." as I rubbed her shoulder as we tried to get her to sit up I saw her knee which now looked like two knees together because of how swollen it was.
Carina rushed back to us and whispered "Callie is waiting for us" as I nervously nodded
As they got Mia out of the pitch and sat her down on a gurney at the side of the pitch the sport doctor began to assess her knee
"Ligaments are probably broken. They must have snapped right through" he said as he grabbed a huge bag of ice
"No no please." Said Mia as she grabbed her head and cried her tears away
"Got your car here?" Asked the coach and I nodded "bring it down over there, it's closer" he said and I rushed over to the parking lot.

Carina's POV
Maya rushed down the pitch and into the parking lot to bring over her car.
As I walked over to where they were icing up and taping Mia's knee. Who wasn't even able to look down at her knee.
"Bella. Maya is coming with the car" I said as I stroked her hair and she nodded as she held her head with her hands "Callie, she is the best ortho I know she's waiting for us" said Carina "it's gonna be okay"
Maya appeared rushing with the car as the coach and the sport doctor helped get Mia into the car and Maya and I popped up and rushed towards Grey Sloan
