Maya's Sister

Getting to know us

Maya's POV
As I picked up Mia from Grey Sloan we both got into the car and made our way back to the station
"So" I said as I looked at her
"So?" She smiled turning to me
"So" I laughed "how are you doing?"
She chuckled and said "Am I in trouble?"
I playfully hit her shoulder and said "no dummy you're not. I just want to talk to you"
"Okay?" She smiled
"I managed to call your school" I said "Got to change dad's number to mine"
She turned to look at me with a surprised expression "Thank you" she said truly "Thank you so much"
"Kiddo" I said "you're with us now" I smiled

Mia's POV
We got to the station and Maya had to rush upstairs to get hold of a call
I headed towards the kitchen and sat down on my phone as I heard Andy coming in
"Hey you" she said as she sat down next to me
"Hey Andy" I smiled
"How's that knee feeling?" She asked as she poured coffee
"Could be worst" I smiled
She laughed and said "gosh you're Maya's sister"
"You two already gossiping about me?" Said Maya as she broke inside the kitchen
"Damn almost" laughed Andy
"Okay. Everything settled upstairs. Seems like the PD is on our asses" she said looking at Andy who sighted
"Yeah" sighted maya back as she sat down next to me handing me a cup of coffee
"Thanks" I smiled looking out of my phone locking it quickly
"What?" She laughed looking at Andy
"What?" I asked confused
"What's so confidential in that phone?" She laughed
"Nothing" I shrugged my shoulders
"You're such a bad liar" she said
"So are you" said Andy sitting across us
"Oh come on" laughed Maya
"I don't know what you're talking about" I said innocently
"Right... so Andy does the name Noah sound familiar to you?" She asked and I could almost feel my heart skipping a beat
"Hmm should it?" Asked Andy and maya glared at me
"Okay fine. How do you know?" I said giving up
"We met him at the match" she smiled "we were talking for a while"

Maya's POV
I could see her freaking out just with the idea of us talking to this guy
"I'm kidding " I laughed "I mean partly, we met him and I said no word" I said
I could see how she almost sighted in relief and Andy and I smiled at each other.
"Okay so, the other team will be here in no time, so I'll go get everything ready to leave" I said as I walked upstairs to grab my files

Carina's POV
I hated long days, they just made me sick. As soon as I was off shift I grabbed my stuff and jumped into my car to drive home.
I parked my car in my usual spot and noticed Maya's car wasn't there yet, she was probably coming soon tho. As I began to get on with dinner I could listen to laughs at the door and seconds later the door opened and the two bishops walked in
"Hey honey" said Maya as she walked into the kitchen and pecked my lips "how was your day?" she asked and I shrugged my shoulders
"Long but nice" I said smiling "how did the station go?" I asked
"Oh quite gossipy since now we all now bout Mia's boyfriend" she said giving the teenager a glare
I playfully hit her arm and said "you're such a child"
"What?" she said laughing "you were the first one to even talk to him" she lied
"Maya!" I said and turned to Mia "I promise bambina I said nothing and neither did she" I said giving a deathful glare to Maya who was laughing
I could see how blushed up Mia was and said kinda laughing "he isn't my boyfrind"
"oh no he is not" said Maya as she picked her head up from the fridge "cause no boyfrinds are allowed in this house"
I could see how Mia's face kinda fell down and I winked at her which made her relax

Maya's POV
I got showered as fast as I could to clean up all the smoky smell I had. As I was drying up my hair I could listen to Carina and Mia laughing downstairs and I could feel my heart warming up somehow.
I slowly walked downstairs and suprised them both "what are you two talking about?" I said and Mia turned to me
"Bout you actually" she smiled and I mocked her
"jealouse?" asked Carina as she turned to me
"nope, cause I'll just go eat all the food you just made" I said and shrugged my shoulders walking into the kitchen
Both of them laughed and walked into the kitchen after me
"What are you doing?" I asked looking at Mia
"Meaning?" She asked
"Where on gods name are your crutches?" I asked
"Oh yeah. That" she said kinda annoyed and before I could even reply I could see Carina glaring at me
"Crutches now" I said firmly but in a good tone and she rolled her eyes hopping back into the living room
"Thanks" I said as I turned to Carina
"No need" she smiled
I walked over to her and kissed her cheek as she smiled to me and we heard Mia coming in with her crutches
"There you go" I smiled as she looked to me annoyed

Carina's POV
I could see how Maya was somehow getting better. Having more patience. Growing up
"So, know that both of us are here" Maya began as we all sat down at the table "maybe you can talk to ha about your boyfriend" she said and Mia blushed up instantly
"There's no boyfriend" she said looking at both of us seriously trying to convince us
"Oh right right" said Maya teasing her
"Maya" I laughed "stop interrogating her" I said chuckling
"Oh come on I'm not the only one who wants to know, you're even more desperate to know than I am" she said
I looked at Mia and said "that is not true" as I playfully hit Maya's arm
"Come on just spit it" said Maya who was definitely desperate for the gossip
"Maya" I said half lau bind solo she would stop insisting even tho I wanted to know

Mia's POV
I could either keep on lying to both of them or just tell them the truth which wasn't even that big a deal.
"Fine" I sighted blushing up and Maya got all thrilled since I would tell them
"Ha! Knew it!" She almost yelled making us both Carina and I burst into laughter
