"Section Commander, we should hurry."

"Give me a minute, Moblit." I said passing him, marching my way to where Levi, Lyn, and my friend Pastor Nick stood in a clump. I eyed Lyn, then back at Nick,  hoping for a postive response, "Have you had a change of heart yet?"

I was left jawdropped at that, the silence that slithered over us as I stood there, glaring at the man who refused to take out a word. I eye at Lyn, who simply shook her head to me, "No."

"We don't have time for this!" I exclaimed.

"Zoe, calm down."

"You know, don't you?" I turn to the damned Priest again. My patience crumbling down like a tumbling wall; a falling tower. The time wasn't right to hesitate or wait. So I screamed at his face, "Will you talk, or won't you? Make up your mind already!"

"I can't say anything." The priest answered, although hesitated, "The other believers are the same as I. and that will never change."

"Well thanks for nothing! We're so grateful for all the help you've been!" I am at my breaking point, throwing my hands up in the air and refusing to look at him out of my simmered down fury.

And then I hear Lyn say something that lurked a grin that I refuse to show anyone after just being angey, "...Can I keep him?"

"No." Levi answered in an instant.

"I need a new specimen." She reasoned out. My god, this woman... I mean I guess that can be another reason to keep a human other than getting married or having a child.

Levi scolded, "Shut up."

"Hm."

Nick averted his eyes away from Lyn. His face almost ashamed looking, or is it, I don't know at this point, "It's too great of a decision for a single person to make." He said, "---The Order of the Walls must adhere to the sacred will we're bound to obey."

I had to ask, "Whose will? God or something?"

"I cannot say anything." He replied, which brought in a level of irritation to tickle my anger again. But he did say something interesting finally, "However, I can inform you of a name, who under their sacred will, we were instructed to monitor."

"Monitor?" I echoed.

"The person joined the Scout Regiment as of this year."

Lyn nods, "Ah–"

"Their name is Historia Reiss. Otherwise known as Crista."

I see the children's eyes widened in surprise.

"Her?" Eren muttered.

I turned to him, "Who's that?"

"You must find her at once." Nick said instead, "Only she... may know the truths which even we cannot perceive. That is all the information I can share. The rest I leave in your hands."

I felt an ich somewhere in my head when I announced in my realization, "If she's in the 104th , then she's deep in the front lines right now."

"Let's go! We need to hurry!" Eren yelled in a typical manner only to bump into a fellow soldier with a tied up pony.

She fell on the floor and groaned a good amount when Eren came to speak out her name, "Sasha?!"

"What are you doing here?" Mikasa asked in a straight forward manner.

"What disgusting outbursts of emotions—Eren, shut your mouth if you don't want my desire to pluck and boil your teeth to become a reality." Lyn commanded, crossed-armed and cross, "Sasha, be a dear and hand the report to Hange please."

The girl stumbled to pick up the paper roll and handed me. I figure that I should hand her a hot potato for her hard work so I did, she is known for loving it afterall. She seemed happy for it.

"So, who is the girl in the 104th?" I asked.

"The girly looking person, right." Lyn answered, "The small one with the kissable lips."

I'm sorry, kissable? I had to double look at her.

Lyn paused, "I think."

You think? I couldn't quite help but think that suspicious too.

"She's the smallest one of us." Eren eventually explained.

"She's got long golden hair." Armin seconds, "Um, and...she's cute."

Lastly, Mikasa added, "She's always hanging around with Ymir."

"Eh?" I stood aback upon hearing that name again, "Ymir?"

Lyn cuts me with a chuckle, "Let's go."

There is it again, I thought to myself. That slight suspicion that I somehow, and in some way, have been the only one to notice. Of course, everyone notices her crazy. But there are moments that just seems as though they meant something...this was it again.

But no matter how suspicious it has always been in my eyes, I can never seem to question what it meant. Whether good or bad, I've never seemed to question it. Much better to say, that it interested me.

Although, a part of something in me twisted whispers in my ear that I should be wary. Surely because I don't know. Ignorance and the unknown are one of the things that people fear... Then as I mention again, it is the exact same thing that catches my attention.

I asked one last time for assurance, "Everyone understand?"

"Yes!"

"We've got to go!" Yelled Eren like he's expected to.

"Calm down, Eren." Levi scolded, and facing the rest, he added, "You all listen, too. We're going our own ways. The rest is up to you. Erwin may have thrown together your squad, but everything's riding on you. Got it, Armin? Work with Hange and combine your knowledge."

"Y-Yes sir!"

"Mikasa. I don't know why you're so attached to Eren, but...use the utmost of your ability to protect Eren at all costs."

"Yes, Sir! Of course!"

"Eren. Learn how to restrain yourself. Don't succumb to rage and lose sight of the goal. We can't afford another mistake."

"Yes, Sir!"

"Finally, Emilyn."

Lyn? Why Lyn?

"You know how you've been acting weird lately. I have no clue what cause this utter nonsense that wavered you so suddenly but...Come back alive. You have promises to fulfill."

She teased, "My, of course, Captain Levi."

"Gross." He paused to look away, "Hurry up and leave already."

"You all heard him you dejected commodities!" She announced, "You're all gross! Now, everyone be quick in you paces and hurry up!"

In a moment, everyone straddled onto their horses and we rode our way to the tower. We caarried torches in the dead nights and as I read the paper aloud for Lyn to hear, "There's a tower nearby where we can assess the wall. It's an abandoned castle to the southwest. We'll ride to Utgard Castle."

My eyes lure themselves to her right after only to see the growing grin on her face that one can barely see in the dark. Lyn declaired, in an authoritatian tone rings in my ears, "That property will be MINE. Surely, I have one more thing to worry about now...Zoe."

And then she looked at me. At that moment, we were both looking at each other, her infectious smile crept itself onto my face. I couldn't help it. Her eyes glimmered at me, "Let's hurry, I've got a castle to steal."
