1. The Play

7:30 a.m

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP

The alarm went off, Elijah groaned as he turned off the alarm and sat up in bed still half asleep. The boy yawned and rubbed his tired eyes, he then got out of bed and went and got ready for the last day of school before spring break.

Elijah put on a simple NYU shirt that he got from Elizabeth with some sports shorts. He then stretched and went and put on his socks and shoes. The young Olsen boy then walked out of his room and went downstairs to the kitchen, he was greeted by his mother who was cooking. "Morning Eli. How did you sleep baby?" Jarnie asked as she walked over and kissed Elijahs head. "Morning Momma, I slept good like always! Did dad go to work?" Eli asked as he looked up at his mother.

Jarnie nodded and walked back into the kitchen "Yes hunny. He did you ready for Spring break?" She asked as she fixed Eli's breakfast. "Yep! Is Lizzie and The twins coming? Or is Trent coming!?" Eli asked as he went over and sat at the table. Jarnie gave him a smile before she set his bowl of oatmeal down in front of him. "Yes one of them will come. They told me they will come and pick you up from school." Jarnie stated as she then sat in front of Eli. Elijah started to eat his breakfast, he then raised an eyebrow "who's coming to get me?" He asked as he then put another spoon full of oatmeal in his mouth. Jarnie chuckled before she sipped her cup of coffee "That's a surprise, they wanted me to keep it a secret from you." She stated. "Ohh. Ok momma" Eli said before he started to continue eating.

When Eli was done eating his breakfast he got up from his seat and brought his dishes to the sink. "Eli! Hurry up! The bus is about to be here any minute!" Jarnies voice stated from the living room. Eli looked at the time on his sports watch, he then ran up to his room and grabbed his backpack and ran back downstairs. He ran over to his mom and hugged her "Bye mom! See you later!!" Eli said as he then pulled away from his mother then zoomed out the door. Jarnie smiled at him before she got up from the couch and went to go get ready for work.

Eli rushed to the bus stop that was about 2 minutes away. He was always the last stop before the bus heads off to school, he also had a habit of always showing up when the bus does. Once Eli showed up at the bus stop he smiled and huffed "YES! 2 MINUTES BEFORE THE BUS CAME!" Eli yelled out in excitement as he did a little happy dance. He then heard the bus come driving up. He smiled and watched as the bus came to a stop, he then walked on the bus and went to his seat next to his friend Cole.

35 minutes later

When the bus stopped at the school all the kids including Eli got off the bus. Eli waved Cole goodbye until he seen him again at Lunch, he then walked to his first class of the day, Math. When Eli got into class and sat down he bit the inside of his cheek and waited for the teacher to go on with the today lesson. Eli was great at math so he really didn't mind he just hated how he had it early in the morning.

Time skip (sorry I'm lazy)

When Eli got finished with his math worksheet he walked up and turned it in. The bell rang, he was a bit surprised hat he got finished when the bell rang. He then walked over to his table and grabbed his stuff and started to walk out "Remember class! Don't forget to do your math packet during your break!" Mr. Zander stated. All the kids groaned and sighed as they walked out, while Eli on the other hand just chuckled to himself while he walked out.

"Eli!!" A voice called out. Eli turned around and saw his small friend group that consisted Cole, Vin, and Henry. "Oh! Hey guys!" Eli greeted his friends as he then waited for them to walk with him to class. "Eli do we have a math packet? Please tell me we don't!" Henry asked as he looked at Eli. "Yeah we do, but I did half of it. Don't worry I'll finish it up during English to give you guys the answers during lunch!" Eli said as he walked with them. "Oh thank god! Your such a nerd Eli. But we love you for it!" Henry stated as he started to chuckle. "Oh what ever! Your a nerd in. English!!" Eli spat out. "Yeah yeahhh." Henry said. The whole group then laughed at them before they started to head off to gym.

When the group of boys entered gym they all got changed and ran out to go mingle. They had a free day since it was the last day before break. "Hey Eli are any of your siblings going to be with you during the break??" Vin asked. "Yeah are they??" Cole asked, the group then looked at Eli. Eli nodded "yep! I don't know who though my mom wouldn't tell me. I'm pretty sure it's one of my sisters to be honest." Eli stated as he then went over and grabbed a soccer ball. The group fo friends then followed Eli, "Yo Ro! I'll totally beat you in a 1v1 match!" Vin blurted out. "Yeah right! Bring it on!!" Eli stated as he and Vin then played a little match, while Henry and Cole watched and laughed at Vin make a total joke of himself.

Time skip

It was now lunch time, Eli and his friends sat together while they ate and talked about their classes. "Bro! Ms. Marvin kept on getting on my butt!! Why is she always against me?!" Henry stated as he bit into a carrot. "Probably because you never shut your mouth during history Henry!" Cole stated. Eli and Vin both laughed at them, Eli then got his math packet and let his friends write down the answers. "Hey guys see told you I'd come in clutch for math!" Eli said proudly. The group all smiled at him "Thank you Eli! Oh! Also I got the answers to the Science worksheet we did. Here! I took a photo." Cole stated as he then slid over his iPod.

Eli smiled at him before he got out a sheet of paper and wrote down the answers, while his friends took a photo of Elis math work on their phones. "Thank you Cole." Eli said as he then grabbed his math packet and put the science answers back in his bag before he ate lunch. "Eli when do you think your gonna get a phone?" Henry asked as he took a bite out of his sandwich. Eli looked at him the shrugged "I honestly don't know. And I don't care really, I mean I have a computer and a DS at home so I'm fine." Eli stated. "Bro having a phone is cool! But if your fine without one it's ok. Plus we all have a group chat we all talk on." Vin stated as he looked over at Eli. "Oh that's cool. Hey! Want to play against each other on Mariokart later??" Eli asked as he looked at his friends.

"Heck yeah!! I'm down!" Vin stated. "Yes! I'll destroy you guys!" Henry said with a smirk on his face. "I'm down! I'll send out an invite around 5 today!" Cole stated. "Cool!" Eli said, then the bell rang. "Well I'm off to Theater! I'll see you guys around!" Eli stated as he grabbed his backpack. "Bye Eli! See you later!!" The group all said as they all went their separate ways to their last class of the day.

When Elijah entered his theater class he went and sat down at the table with his table mates, Quinn, Lyla, and Joey. Eli loved his last class of the day, he was friends with Everyone in that class since they all had to do plays and small skits together. "Hey guys!" Eli smiled at his group. "Hey Eli!" They all greeted him. Eli was about to talk before their teacher Mrs. Nova spoke up. "Alrighty my sweets! We will be practicing our play that will be starting soon! So go get your roles and go practice!" She stated as she went around to help if needed.

Eli smiled as him and his class started to get the roles all situated. When Eli got his role he smiled "yes! Hey guys! What role did you get??" Eli asked as he looked over at his table buddies. "I got curtain duty! I love it since I don't like going on stage.." Joey stated as he smiled. "I have no clue what mine is- it's blank." Lyda said. "That's weird. I got the role of a background dancer! This is sick!!" Quinn stated. "Huh? Mines blank too." Eli stated.

"Alright as you guys may know some of your sheets of paper are blank. That's because eight of you are going to be the main characters. Now line up and I'll give you your role." Mrs. Nova stated. 8 of students including Eli all stood together and waited till Mrs Nova gave them their role. "Alright now Eli and Liam. I'm going to give you two a part of a line from the character you'll be going for. I want to see which one of you will be our BeetleJuice." She stated. Elis eyes lightened up "cool! We are doing BeetleJuice!!! That's so awesome!!" Eli stated. "Yep. Now here you go you two go study your lines and meet up with me so we can see which one of you will be him. Ok." She stated as she gave them a line.

Time skip

Eli smiled brightly "this is awesome! I got the role of BeetleJuice!!"he stated. "You did a good job Liam!" Eli stated. "You did too! I've been trying to get that role since 6th grade now I'm in 8th! Your crazy talented for his role Eli." Lain stated as he looked at Eli. "Thanks!" Eli said with a smile. "Alright! Now that you guys have your roles you can go on a have the rest of the 15 minutes to chat." Mrs Nova stated as she went over to her desk. Eli smiled as he put his paper with his script in his backpack. He then walked over to go talk to his friends for the rest of the time before school got out.
