Chapter 16: I Am Nervous

"May I know what's with the smile?" Bobby asked as he lean against the railing on the roof deck of the Infinity Club.

"She asked me if I am perhaps falling for her."

Bobby grinned. "What's your answer?"

Silence. Hanbin looked up in the sky. Bobby took a sip on the beer in can he's holding, patiently waiting for Hanbin's answer.

"I said I care for her."

Bobby chuckled. "The word care is underrated, B.I. Are you perhaps falling for her?" He asked.

Silence again.

He smiled and say, "I do."

Tomorrow is another day, as what other people always say. It is indeed a new day for Lee Hi, the dullness in her eyes were no longer there, replaced by liveliness again. Both her eyes and lips are smiling. Even though she's standing the whole day at her post and her only break from work is her lunch..it doesn't seems a problem to her at all. She seems unbothered to it. She's showing her genuine smile to everyone again and Robert Choi noticed it.

"You seems different from yesterday Miss Lee. Welcome back." Robert smile at her.

"It's just that...a new day has come Manager Choi."

"Well, I hope you always have that genuine smile on your face. Don't lose it, it's too precious. Fighting!"

"Fighting!" She smiled at her manager. Robert left her after and went to Lita and Marie who had daggers in their looks again. She ignored it though. She's too happy to let the negativity eat her.

"That's six thousand ma'am." She said politely to her last customer for today. The woman gave her a card. She processed it and thank the customer again when everything is settled.

She hurriedly went to her locker get her belongings and run to the hospital. She didn't know why she's so excited to see her mother. She hurriedly open the door of her mother's room and shouted, "Mother."

"You startled me!" Mrs. Lee's reaction and jump in surprised. The apple she's holding also jump out of her hand. "Looked what happened to the apple." Her mother exclaimed and just looked at the poor apple on the floor. Lee Hi ignored her mother's nagging. She picked up the apple from the floor and put it on the bedside table. "Why would you even shout like that?"

"Mother." She only said while grinning.

Her mother looked at her, observing her. "Look at you. You look different from yesterday. Yesterday you looked like a gloomy day and a storm ready to strike the land..but look at you now. You look like a summer shining at its best." Her mother smile. "What happened?" There's curiosity and a hint of excitement in Mrs. Lee's voice. "Why am I seeing sparks in your eyes my dear Lee Hi?"

"What are you saying mother?" She tried to hide her emotion. But her blushing red cheeks betrayed her.

Mrs. Lee just looked at her as if reading her mind through her expression.

"Okay, okay." She said in defeat.

"Mother, what does it feel to fall in love and is it possible to fall in love in just a short period of time?" Lee Hi asked. At first there's hesitation and shyness in her voice but sooner she trusted her mother. After all, she always tell Mrs. Lee about what she always feel, she can't hide secret from her. Lee Hi's life is an open book when it comes to her mother.
