28. You in?

The following morning you sat up in bed next to George and your head was spinning. You climbed out of bed and went to the bathroom, glancing at your knotted hair and streaked makeup in the mirror
"Lovely"
You turned the shower on and steam started to billow out. You stripped out of your clothes and stepped into the shower letting the hot water hit you. You put some shampoo in your hands and started to work it through your hair when you heard someone walk in, you peaked out of the shower and saw a half asleep Fred walking over to the toilet
"Fred" you shrieked crying him to jump and face you. You jumped back trying to cover yourself but you slipped and fell hitting the side of the shower creating a commotion
"Blimey Samantha" Fred ran out of the bathroom and you picked yourself up rinsing the shampoo out of your hair
"Samantha" George walked into the bathroom rubbing his eyes "why did you flash my brother"
You turned the shower off and wrapped yourself in a towel
"I did not" you shouted
"Then what happened"
"He came in to use the bathroom and I was showering"
"She flashed me" Fred yelled sticking his head in the bathroom
"Did not" you lunged at Fred who quickly dipped out of the bathroom and George grabbed you
"Easy there" he laughed
"Just get me some clothes please"
"Anything for you" he kissed the top of your head and went into the bedroom, returning with a tshirt and sweats.
"Thank you" you quickly dressed and walked out into the boys room. Fred was sitting on his bed and you threw your wet towel at him
"I'll see you two later" you said kissing George on the cheek and walking back to your room. Your bare feet plodding down the hall your wet hair still dripping a little bit
"Samantha" Hermione called from behind you. She was walking with Ginny who looked exhausted
"We're going to the three broomsticks for breakfast, care to join"
"I'd love to, give me 10 minutes" you went into your room and pulled out a pair of jeans to replace the sweats but kept George's shirt on. You threw your hair into a messy bun and grabbed a coat before slipping on your sneakers and heading downstairs.
"Ready" you called hurrying up to Ginny and Hermione
"Then let's go" you linked arms with the two other girls and headed out of the castle.

"So what did you two get up to after I left last night" you asked both girls
"Not much" Hermione said eyeing Ginny "as for Ginny..."
"Ginny spill" you said turning to your other friend Who was blushing profusely
"Harry and I might have kissed"
"Shut up" you yelled "no Fucking way"
Ginny laughed and covered her face with her hands
"We walked around the castle and we ended up in the courtyard and he kissed me"
"Finally" you laughed
"It was actually perfect" she admitted
The three of you walked into the three broomsticks and took a table by the window

"What about you and my brother" Ginny laughed "how's that going"
"Really really good" you smiled
"And after Everything with Adrian...." Hermione asked
"Even after all of that George made me feel safer than before"
"I'm glad"
"Yeah I'd have to kill my brother if he hurt you" Ginny joked making you laughed. You ordered food and as soon as it came to your table the three of you dug in.
"I can't believe the twins are leaving so soon" Ginny said in between mouthfuls
"Leaving where" you asked
"....Hogwarts" Ginny said hesitantly "they didn't...t-tell you"
"No" you said placing your fork down "they didn't"
"Sam I'm sorry Ron told us and I figured you knew..."
"No it's fine" you said standing up and placing a few galleons down on the table "you'll have to excuse me"
You raced out of the pub feeling sick to your stomach as tears blurred your vision. How could George not tell you he was leaving, was this just a joke to him? Did he not feel the same way you did?
You clutched your stomach as tears spilled down your face he was leaving you, he was leaving you here alone.
You made your way back up to the castle and slowly walked into the common room unsure of what to say when you saw George. He and Fred were sitting on the couch talking and writing in a notebook
"Samantha" Fred said smiling at you but the smile faded when he saw you were crying
"Are you okay? Did Arian do something?" George asked getting your his feet. You stepped back creating more space between the two of you
"No it wasn't Adrian"
"Then what happened"
"Were you ever going to tell me" you shouted at him hands balled in fists
"Tell you what?"
"That you're leaving! We're you just going to tell everyone else and leave me in the dark forever" you turned away and raced up to your room. You slammed the door behind you and slid down the wall
"Samantha" you heard George call softly from behind the door "please....please let me in"
"Leave me alone George"
"Please just let me explain"
"...... go ahead"
"I planned on telling you Samantha really, I just wasn't sure how to do it. And we didn't tell everyone we told Ron and only because he heard us talking about it and threatened to tell mum"
You sat silently listening to his explanation
"And.... I was going to ask you to come with us"
You gasped silently into your hands. You slowly opened the door a crack and peaked out at George who was sitting on the other side
"You want me to go with you" you asked quietly
"Of course Samantha, I never want to be without you"
You smiled and wiped away your tears
"I love you, you idiot" you laughed quietly
"I'm so sorry I made you upset" George reached down and tucked your hair behind your ear
"I love you" he kissed you softly and you smiled against his lips.
"So will you"
"Will I?"
"Will you come with us - me and Fred"
"I don't know George what about newts"
"Well I mean you won't really need those if you work at the shop"
"But that's your dream George, I'm not sure what mine is"
"But without you how will we stay organized and manage everything"
"George I have no doubt in my mind that you two will be fine on your own" you sighed "just let me think about it"
"Alright love" George kissed your head again and got to his feet "take all the time you need"
You closed your door after George walked away and sighed. You walked over to your desk and pulled out a piece of parchment and started writing a note to Tonks, maybe she would be able to give you some advice. You finished writing and pulled on a hoody before heading out to the owlery.

The next say at lunch you saw Tonks owl fly into the great hall dropping a letter to you as she passed.
"Who's that from" George asked
"Tonks" you smiled ripping the letter open 

Samantha,
It's so good to hear from you, even if you're having a hard time making a decision and only love me for my advice
I know your parents (yuck) or even the Weasleys would probably say to stay at hogwarts but maybe don't think about what could go wrong if you did but think about what could go right? I know you believe wholeheartedly in the twins and their business so why not? I really think this could take off and Merlin knows those boys need someone to keep them under control. You could help them reach new levels they never dreamed of.
If you're worried about your relationship with George you can always stay with me and Remus instead of the twins, we'd love to have you.
So long story short I say go for it! You're only young once, unless you're me and then you stay young forever.

You chuckled to yourself and finished reading the letter before folding it back up.
"What did she have to say" Fred asked
You just shrugged and smiled
"Girl stuff"
"Gross" Fred whispered and kept eating. You looked up at George and couldn't help but smile
"What you loon"
"Nothing I just love you"
George laughed "I love you too, now let's go we better hurry to potions"
