You sat on the cold tile of the hospital floor doing your best to keep your eyes open
"You'd think they'd have coffee here" you groaned to George who wasn't really listening. You were waiting on the doctors inside of Fred's room to come out and give you any news. Molly paced back and forth nervously running her hands through her hair
"Found some" Arthur said coming around the corner two cups of coffee in his hand
"Oh bless you" you said getting to your feet accepting the cup of coffee taking a long sip.
"Any word yet" he asked
"Nothing" Molly said stopping next to him
"They're taking forever" George complained
"They'll come out as soon as they know something" you said rubbing George's back.

About an hour later the doctor and a nurse left Fred's room looking around the hall for everyone. You noticed tapping George's arm getting up from where you sat
"You're Fred Weasleys family I presume" the doctor said addressing Molly and Arthur
"Yes" Arthur said "we all are"
"Well there's good news and bad news. Good news is he's alive still breathing on his own"
"And the bad" George asked interrupting the doctor
"The bad.... We aren't sure how long it'll take for him to wake up, and once he does... we don't know what the damage to his brain will be"
"What are you saying" George asked
"Well we're not sure how much he'll remember" the doctor explained
"So now what" Molly asked
"For now we wait" the doctor said "we will call you once anything changes"
"So we're supposed to just go home and wait" George asked, you could tell he was frustrated
"Unfortunately yes" the doctor said goodbye and continued down the hall
"I want to see him before we go" George said
"Alright" you smiled up at him "I'll be here waiting"

George disappeared into Fred's room leaving you with Molly and Arthur
"We're going to head home" Molly said
"I think we're going to head back to the shop tonight"
"Be safe" Molly kissed your forehead and you hugged Arthur goodbye.
You waited for George outside of Fred's room, but once about twenty minutes had passed you knocked on the door and stuck your head in
"George"
You saw him knelt next to Fred's bed tears streaming down his face and you hurried to his side
"George" you wrapped your arms around him and he hugged you back
"It was my fault" he cried
"What was"
"Fred. You both got stuck in the rubble after the explosion and I ran to you and got you out, by the time I had gotten to Fred he was unconscious and had lost a lot of blood"
"George it wasn't your fault, you saved Fred. He's going to be okay"
"But if I was faster maybe he'd be alright now"
"George you saved my life and your brothers life, none of this is your fault. Without you... neither of us would be here"
George wiped his eyes and nodded at you
"I miss him"
"I know you do. He'll wake up soon" you said brushing his hair out of his face
"Let go" George finally said taking one last look at his brother
"You sure"
"Yeah I want to go home"
You nodded and the two of you walked out Fred's room and then the hospital. You found a small alley that was empty so you could apperate back to the shop. You held tightly to George and thought of your home. The two of you landed right in front of the store, it was exactly how you left it.
George unlocked the door and walked inside, you followed close behind.
"It's like we never left" you said walking around looking at all of the products on the shelves. You turned and George was watching you a small smile on his face
"What" you asked smiling back at George
"Nothing" he shrugged his smile growing larger "I just love you is all"
You blushed and covered your face, turning away from George. You could hear him approach you from behind and soon you felt his strong hands wrap around your waist. He planted gently kisses on your neck trailing down to your collarbone.
"George" you giggled turning and looking up at him
"Yes darling" he said continuing to kiss your neck. He nibbled at your sensitive skin and you let out a shaky breath
"Let's head upstairs" he whispered taking your hand in his leading the way.
He opened the door to the flat and you looked around, everything still in the same place when you left. George looked around too for a moment pausing before he lead you over to the couch sitting down and pulling you onto his lap. You leaned down and kissed him tangling your fingers in his hair, George smiled into the kiss when you did.
He pulled away from the kiss pulling your top of quickly
"Easy" you giggled helping him
"I need you" he breathed kissing you down your chest letting out a small groan. He took your bra off and helped you stand
"Take them off" he said looking at your pants which you quickly pulled off as George did the same. He pulled you back onto his lap and the only thing between the two of you was your underwear which George played with as he kissed you. The anticipation was driving your crazy and you couldn't take the teasing

George removed his finger from you and you whispered at the loss of contact. George flipped you over laying you down on the couch and taking his boxers off before slowly slipping your underwear off.

"I think we both could" George said watching you gather your clothes up before heading into the shower. You turned the water on and got in and started washing when George knocked on the door
"Come in" you called
George walked in with a glass of wine in his hand
"For you darling" he handed you the wine and kissed your head making you giggle
"Thank you" you said taking a sip of the wine
George winked and left you to shower.
Once you were done you dressed and went into the living room to find George setting up dinner
"I ran down the street and got us takeaway" he said smiling
"George.... I feel like I should be the one taking care of you" you said putting your glass of wine on the table "not the other way around"
"Well you got hurt the other night so I want to care for you.... Also what you said at the hospital, it really got to me. You were right I could have lost you and Fred and I'm so glad I didn't, I don't know what I would do without you"
You sat down at the table with George
"You won't lose me. And you didn't, you saved my life" you smiled and reached across the table holding George's hand.
"I didn't do anything special" he said shaking his hand "I just did what anyone would do"
"But anyone didn't, you did"
George shrugged and took a bite of his dinner
"I mean it George, I love you"
"I love you too" he smiled at you and you started on your dinner.
"So what's the plan for opening up the shop" you asked
"We'll open tomorrow" George told you "everyone is going to come lend a hand"
"Sounds good" you smiled "back to the chaos"
