Nebula (With A Touch)

Recently found myself crushing over her, so why not write something about her :)

(Y/n)'s POV

I began flickering my eyes open from a not-so-long sleep, I tried to move out of my bed but as soon as I did I groaned when I felt a pain on my back 

Why does my back always keep on hurting? I'm only 26 for god's sake!

I didn't want to get out of my bed anymore after I felt how painful my back was, then all of sudden there was sharp kick on my bed "Wake up, idiot!" the yelling shot me up from my bed and quickly turned to the person who yelled at me 

There, a blue woman stood in front of with a face stiff as a statue, like it hasn't seen a daylight ever before and eyes so dark, it makes you believe that you are being sucked into a black hole

"Yeah, yeah, I'm awake..." I sighed, not wanting to start an argument this early in the morning and since I also do not like to argue, the woman huffed, then left by slamming the door and without saying another word 

Jeez, what's her problem? Wait, wasn't she supposed to leave yesterday?

Then I finally got out of bed while grunting like an old woman, I did a couple stretches and that was when my back began to feel at ease, it was so tense and tight before, now I feel like I'm in my right age 

I splashed my face with water after I brushed my teeth, then wiped it off with a towel and I got dressed, I didn't really chose any clothes that would give me protection which some people might think it's dumb 

But it helps me to keep a low profile and could get into cracks more easily than the others, being raised in the place called Knowhere makes me think like that, as it has quite a lot of thieves and criminals walking around the place and wearing something big or noticable makes you a big target for thieves, almost like you have a sign on your back that says 'Hey, I have a lot of money here, come and get some!'

Anyway, I wore a brown dress with dark brown high knee socks, and some also brown shoes that I've been wearing for quite some time, but of course, I won't be walking around defenseless, I put on thigh holsters on both of my thighs

I combed my hair that used to be all messy and now, back to how I wanted it, then I looked at the mirror in front of me and realised I was wearing a lot of brown, afterwards I finally walked out of my room and went to the kitchen where I saw Gamora making breakfast 

"Morning, Gamora" I greeted while approaching her 

"Morning"

"Are you making pancakes? I thought we ran out of pancake batter" I stated

"Quill, got some yesterday"

"Oh okay...Hey, um, speaking of yesterday, but...I though Nebula was suppose to leave yesterday" I said as I remembered Gamora saying that Nebula going to leave yesterday 

"Well, she wanted to stay for a while...is there a problem with that?" Gamora asked with a more serious voice than before, I immediately shook my head as she has always intimidated me

"No! Not at all! She just...startled me when she...woke me up" I nervously chuckled, then suddenly she laughed 

"I'm just joking, (Y/n)! Loosen up a bit around me, I'm not going to eat you!" she said and took two plates filled with pancakes "Can you also take those other pancakes on the table?" she requested 

"Sure" I took the other plates and followed her to the table, weirded out by what she said before 

Wait, now that I thought about it I've never really heard her joke around, weird

I shrugged it off as it was probably nothing, I mean people can change, as I put down the pancakes down, Gamora had already placed down the empty plates for everyone, then one by one the other began showing up 

Quill showed up the second last and he looked like he had a rough night "You alright, Quill?" I asked with a slight head tilt

"Yeah, I'm fine but...maybe next time don't send Nebula to wake me up, she nearly knock me off my bed twice" Quill stated, he sat down and fixes his hair 

"Well, maybe if you woke up the first time, then maybe you would nearly fallen off once only" Nebula hissed, then picked a seat to sit on and she chose the one next to mine

"By the way, what is blue meanie still doing here? I thought she was going to leave yesterday?" Quill asked again, then grabbed two pancakes to his plate and poured syrup before taking a bite

"She going to stay here for a little while" Gamora then took a seat, taking a couple of pancakes and bringing it to her plate, so did I 

We all sat and ate quietly until Groot began making a mess and throwing bits and pieces of the food at Drax "Why you little brat!" Drax said but Groot didn't care and threw another one at him and this time Drax was pissed began chasing him around 

"Drax stop!" Gamora yelled but he didn't still chased Groot around and now, everyone, including me was literally telling him to stop but he still wouldn't listen. However, Nebula didn't say anything and just kept on eating

"Idiots" Nebula murmured to herself but I heard it, I smiled to myself, thinking that she'll get used to us soon enough 

"By the way, we are heading to Xandar today" said by Quill while placing another bite of Pancake in his mouth 

"All of us?" Mantis asked and Quill nodded 

"Woah, hold on, isn't she like super wanted at Xandar cause of Ronan?" Rocket pointed out and Nebula gave him a glare 

"Not anymore, I told the Nova Prime that she's basically with us now and that she means no harm!" Quill said and it kinda turned sarcastic at the end with 'no harm' part and I could tell Nebula rolled her eyes even though her eyes are pure black 

"Where's that puny little tree?!?!" Drax walked in, fuming with anger, all of us except for Nebula, shrugged and he carried on looking for Groot, we laughed when we noticed that Groot was actually with Rocket 

"You are in big trouble little guy" Rocket said, even though he's reckless, stubborn and a handful sometimes, he seemingly has a fatherly figure to Groot which is amazing to watch

Yup, this is home!
