Marla Singer (Two Heart, One String III)

I won't be posting in a few days or a couple of weeks because I'll be working on writing Marla Singer's story and completing it, then I'll be publishing it chapter by chapter with a gap of 3 to 4 days, so that I'll have more time finishing the next story. For now, you'd have to wait for a bit.

♢ 3rd Person's POV ♢

(Y/n) just woken up, she groaned and stretches in her bed before hopping off of it, she felt a sudden hunger in her stomach, so she start making her way tot he kitchen, not bothering to wear any trousers or shorts, so her underwear was completely exposed

Her eyes were barely open, when she got to the kitchen she heard a raspy voice "Well, don't you have a good ass" she suddenly opened her eyes there stood Marla with a smirk on her face while sipping coffee

"Oh, shoot!" (Y/n) completely forgotten that she wasn't alone in her apartment anymore. She quickly ran to her room, closing the door behind her and covering her face with her hands, she was so embarrassed 

She grabbed a pair of pyjama trousers, combed her to at least make her look like a decent human being and not some caveman. When she exited her room and entered the kitchen once again Marla was already eyeing her, (Y/n)'s face turned red and just reached for the cupboards to get coffee

"You're early, you slept okay?" she cleared her throat while making coffee 

"Yeah, it's one of the best sleeps I've had in a while. Knowing that no one would barge into the room" Marla replied, then sips her coffee

"Someone broke into your place before?" (Y/n) questioned 

"Not entirely, quite a few of people tried to brake in. Most of them are the people I've hooked up with"

"I see..." silence filled the kitchen, it wasn't awkward nor good, then all of a sudden (Y/n)'s stomach growled indicating that coffee wasn't enough "You want anything else to go with your coffee or are you okay with just coffee?" 

"I don't usually eat breakfast, but since you're offering, what are you planning to make?" (Y/n) looked through the cabinets, she had quite a few of options, often she would just choose cereals, but since she has someone with her she decided it would be a great idea to cook

"I can make waffles" Marla's beamed with excitement when (Y/n) mentioned waffles

"I would love that. I haven't had waffles for so long that I've forgotten what it tastes like" 

"Waffles it is then" she took out the box to make waffles, she also grabbed a couple of eggs and a carton of milk. She whipped it all up in a big bowl, once she had the batter done she took out the waffle maker she had, then put a generous amount of waffle batter in it and they waited 

A couple of minutes later they had finished the batter and about 6 waffles, three for each of them. "C'mon, can you pleeaasseee hurry up?" Marla pleaded, eager to eat the waffles

"Hold on, alright?" (Y/n) added some sliced strawberries and blueberries, then drizzled maple syrup all over it, once she's done she gave the plate to Marla and handed her a knife and a fork 

Marla snatched the utensils, cuts the 3 layered waffles, then devoured a big piece she had cut "Mmm! This is heaven!" she moans and cuts another piece

"Slow down! I don't you to choke! That won't be a great way to die!" (Y/n) laughed before also started digging in the food

Once they were done eating they cleaned the dishes they used "I'm going to step out for a bit, I need to buy something. You can use the TV if you want, there's books over there if you want to watch" (Y/n) remarked after getting dressed 

"Okay" after (Y/n) grabbed the back she started to make her to the door when she stopped herself

"Oh, please don't bring anyone while I'm gone, you might be my new roommate but I really don't want to hear you fucking someone" she remarked and Marla laughed 

"If I'm being honest I'm quite offended by what you just said. Also, I don't need to bring anyone hot here when I already have one in front of me who has a nice looking ass" (Y/n)'s cheeks burned and she felt goosebumps going up at the back of her neck. (Y/n) dashed out of the place leaving Marla with a smirk on her face, thinking how cute (Y/n) was 

The girl who went out goes to a pharmacy to grab some pills to help her sleep. She has a mild case of insomnia, every once in a while she pop in some sleeping pills. When she got her pills she doesn't have anything else to do but go home, but she felt like it was wrong to come back home empty handed

So she began roaming around the streets until she noticed a brand new store that had opened, she walked towards it. It was a DVD store, as soon as she entered it she felt like she was in heaven. That DVD store was the biggest DVD store she'd ever seen and they were selling good movies too

(Y/n) immediately took her small phone and was about to call Marla's number, but remembered that Marla had given her her home telephone, so she decided to call her home telephone, hoping that Marla would pick it up 

Surprisingly, within only one call Marla answered the call "Sorry, (Y/n) is not here"

"Marla! It's me!" 

"(Y/n)? Why are you calling from your home telephon-Oh wait, never mind, that's a dump question. Anyway, what's up?"

"Yeah, see, there's a new DVD store that had just opened up and I was wondering if you want to have a movie day?" 

"What's a movie day?"

"It's basically a day where you watch movies all day long!"

"I see. Sure, I'd like to have a movie day with you"

"Great! What kind of genre would you like to watch?" (Y/n) asked while looking around the shop 

"Hmmm, any I guess" (Y/n) stopped walking and squealed when she saw a whole movie collection of A Nightmare on Elm Street "(Y/n)? You okay?"

"Would-you-like-to-watch-A-Nightmare-on-Elm-Street!?!" (Y/n) said the question so fast from excitement that Marla didn't understand a single word she said 

"What?"

"I said: would you like to watch A Nightmare on Elm Street? They have the whole collection here and it's only...$80! The whole set!" Marla heard the exclaimed over the phone, she was smiling at how adorable (Y/n) is 

"Yeah, I'll watch it" 

"Okay! I'll see you in a bit, I'll just buy the DVDs"

"Alright" then they both hung up the call. Marla sat back down on he couch and continued watching what was on the TV while (Y/n) snatches the whole set of DVDs and didn't hesitated to buy them

She sprinted back to her apartment, she was grinning like an idiot, she couldn't contain her happiness. When she got back to home, she immediately changed into something comfortable "Marla, can you put the popcorn in the microwave? The popcorn is in the upper cabinet to your right" 

Marla did as she was instructed to do and when she did her task Marla watched the happy girl placing the DVD in the DVD player, closed the blinds and grabbed a blanket. The microwave chimed and Marla took out the freshly made popcorn "Drinks are in the fridge" (Y/n) pointed out and Marla took 2 cans of Coke

She gave the popcorn and a can of Coke to (Y/n) and she thanked her. Marla sat on the couch and (Y/n) scooted close to her and places the blanket over her. Marla was surprised at how (Y/n) had became comfortable over her. Though she didn't mind it, she thought that it felt nice. (Y/n) played the movie and they both stayed home and watched movies the whole day
