8am in the morning, I groaned when I heard the alarm going off, I tried turning it off but failed when it fell on the floor
I got out of bed to turn off the stupid alarm clock then stretched my arms "Urgggaahhh! Good morning! Another morning in National City!"
Afterward, went straight to the bathroom, took a shower, brushed my teeth, fixed my hair and changed into my work clothes; a button up shirt, windowpane pencil skirt, a light purple cardigan and of course, my glasses to keep my identity a secret

Kara's Outfit

I head to the kitchen, grabbed a bowl and placing in cereals, also pouring some milk then taking a spoonful of the cereal and placing it in my mouth
Subsequently, when I finished eating my breakfast and watching the morning news I began to head to her CatCo, as I entered the elevator I got a call from my sister "Hey, Alex!" I greeted
"Hey! Look, I was wondering what kind of gift should I get Kelly cause we're having a date later night" Alex asked, clearly panicking
"Woah! Alex, calm down first-"
"I am calm!"
"Okay, well...give her flowers- a bouquet!" I suggested
"Okay, and?"
"I...I-I...maybe complement her?"
"Kara, I said 'what I should give her?' not what to say!" she pointed out and I rolled my eyes
"I don't know, Alex. I haven't been in a date for a while, I know you'll think of something"
"You're right, I shouldn't be nervous. This is my hundredth time going on a date with her...but everytime it feels like it's the first..." she said and I chuckled
"Well, what it feels when you're in love" I teased, she chuckled from the phone then I noticed that I've arrived at the floor that I'm suppose to get off on "Hey, I gotta go, I'll talk to you later"
"Oh yeah! Right! Talk to you later, bye!"
"Bye!" then I ended the call, I walked up to my desk and while setting down my bag I heard the news once again
"Another day in National City and Supergirl had saved more lives than ever! She has not yet to reveal is who she really is but when that day comes, we will make sure to thank her for doing some much good in our city!" the young guy reporter said which made my day
"Kara!" I turned around and saw Nia waving and running towards me
