Alex Danvers II

It's been a few weeks since (y/n) arrived in National City and since Supergirl's incident with Reign and surprisingly Kara and Lena had brought her back to her normal self even though Lena kept her inside her a lab

(Y/n) told Kara that she'll be staying in National City for a while or permanently and Kara spread a huge smile, jumped around and hugged her tightly saying that she's welcome in the city and that she could stick around in her place until she finds a nice apartment and (y/n) agrees, she also Lena offered her a job at L-Corp and she said yes

And a little side note (y/n) has been keeping a little secret that no one knows except for herself and that little secret is having a major crush on Alex. Yes! Yes, Alex Danvers! Who has a girlfriend and her name is Maggie Sawyer!

(Y/n) could never tell anyone, of course how could she? People might think she's a whore for having a crush on a woman who is taken and not just that (y/n) has never been good at confessing her feelings to someone

If she somehow ended up having a crush one someone she would just often ignore it, hide it until that person finds someone or just skip town but in her case she doesn't really want to leave the city and she is also amazing at hiding her feelings and so, is keeping a secret and lying

At the arriving night it's Friday, Kara had invited her friends and sister Lena, James, Win, J'onn, Maggie, Alex, Nia, Sam and (y/n) for game night

Hours of laughing, teasing, joking and playing games they all took a brake and just sat on the couch and sipped some wine and then Alex broke the silence, saying that she and Maggie has something to say then both Alex and Maggie took out one of their hands and everyone gasped

"We're getting married!" Alex and Maggie said in the same time excitingly, everyone congratulated them

(Y/n) was heart broken, it felt like someone has ripped her heart out of her chest, she just wanted to cry and cry and cry all night but she can't cause she's staying in Kara's place cause she does she'll have to explain everything to her and that cause Kara and her friends including Alex to stop being her friend and she doesn't want that

So, she kept herself together, kept her feelings to herself and smiled and congratulated them and minutes later all of them started going home and Kara said her good nights to (y/n) and she did the same and went on with her night

The next day (y/n) was her usual day. She bought hot chocolate on her way to work at L-Corp cause she doesn't really drink coffee unless she needs to stay awake for a long period of time

Lena went up to (y/n) desk and asked for the documents that she asked her to fill up yesterday but (y/n) didn't seem to respond instead she was just kept staring at the paper that she was assigned to do earlier while biting her pen

"(Y/n)!"Lena called out and (y/n) snapped out

"Hm? Yes?" (Y/n) answered

"Are you okay? You seem a little bit too focus on that paper while biting that black pen" Lena stated

"Sorry, old habits...the pen biting I mean the pen biting not the...uhhh, sorry..."

"Hey, it's fine, you can take a break if you want to"

"No, I'm fine, really...oh umm, here are the papers I guess you were asking for" (y/n) then gave Lena the papers filled with the documents for the week and Lena thanked her and (y/n) nodded and Lena left

Few hours later, (y/n) went back at Kara's apartment at around six and Kara isn't home, yet

(Y/n) was filling a little down so, she decided to make some chicken porridge her favourite and Kara's favourite pot stickers

She made the pot stickers first then chicken porridge and at the time she was making the chicken porridge Kara arrived and (y/n) greeted

"Ohh, what are you making?" Kara asked while leaning in at (y/n)'s side to take a look at what she's cooking

"Chicken porridge and..." then (y/n) revealed the plate filled with pot stickers and Kara jumped around and squealed like she's opening a Christmas present and took the plate and taking it on the table

"Alex called me earlier" Kara stated

"What she'd say?" (Y/n) asked as she took out a bowl and poured some hot chicken porridge

"And she asked me to help her pick a dress for her wedding..." and while Kara kept yapping about Alex's and Maggie's wedding (y/n) just stood there frozen as she began to cry slowly

"-and I saw this amazing dress at a near by wedding dress shop and I immediately thought this would look incredible in her, I even took a picture see!" Kara showed her the picture but (y/n) was turned around, facing her back at Kara

"Hey, (y/n)?" Kara asked with a hint of worried tone in her voice

(Y/n) around slowly, revealing that herself crying "It hurts Kara..."

"Hey-hey! What's the matter? What hurts?" Kara immediately walked up to in front of her and placed her hand on (y/n)'s arms and rubbing it

(Y/n) pointed slowly pointed out on her chest "My heart...it aches" (y/n) cried and Kara was confuse

"Your heart? What? I-I don't understand"

(Y/n) hesitates for a second but still answered "Kara...please don't be mad or stop being my friend..."

"I promise I won't be mad or will I ever stop being your friend just...tell me what's going on?"

"I...I...I have feelings for...for...for Alex" (y/n) sobbed then earlier and Kara was shocked

"My sister?" Kara asked with widen eyes and (y/n) nodded

"I don't know w-what made m-me have feeling for...for her a-and...I-I know she's g-going to get m-married and..." (y/n) in between her sobbing

"Hey, it's okay! It's not your fault that you ended up having feelings for Alex but why didn't you tell her?"

"How could I tell her Kara? She has a girlfriend! A-And now she's going to m-marry that wonderful woman! And I'm scared that when I tell her my feelings she'll s-stop being my friend then you...then Lena then everyone! Then I'll left alone! I've n-never said to anyone about...about my feelings before, I would just run away from m-my feelings" (y/n) confronted

"Oh (y/n)..." then Kara pulled her into a warming hug and (y/n) sobbed even more and letting her know that she'll never stop being her friend or will any of her friends

"It hurts so m-much that i-it makes...w-want to tra-travel the-the universe to look for any thi-thing that could make this-this feeling go away" (y/n) cried while nuzzling in Kara's shoulders

"Oh, (y/n) feelings are worth feeling...even if they hurt and even so, if you found something to make your feelings go away there's a possibility that those feelings would return again cause...loving or falling for someone is a force of nature and that no one can ever erase love" Kara comforted her, rubbing her back and (y/n) back and sniffed and finally stopped cry

"Damn Kara! You're hella good in pep talks!" And both of them laughed

"Now c'mon lets eat dinner! I'm starving!" Kara pointed out and (y/n) nodded
