Kara Danvers (Soulmates VII)

(Y/N)'S POV

I teleported Supergirl and I back to the city, ready to stop Rama Khan once again although, his recent attacks bothers me for some reason "Rama Khan!" Supergirl's voice startled me when I was thinking "Attacking at night time now, huh?" 

"As I said before and always, I will not stop until I have extinct all o-" Supergirl than cut him off

"Of humanity, yeah! And like I have said before we will not let you do that, not when we're still here!" and I stood beside her the Martian Manhunter appeared beside me 

"Mind if I join?" he asked 

"The more the merrier" Supergirl replied and I nodded and the fight began

The battle was long and hard but thankfully it was over and none of us was badly damaged "Hey, you okay?" the Martian asked 

He probably noticed my discomfort when I was moving my arm "Yeah, I'm fine. Probably just a bruise on my arm though" 

"Oh sorry, I haven't introduced myself. J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter" he said and he pulled his hand out and I gladly shook it

"I've heard. White Flake"

"Supergirl has told quite a lot about you" and I don't know why but when he said I seem to have flattered myself 

"Oh please, she doesn't know much about me yet..." as I turned away I couldn't shake the feeling that something isn't right "That Rama Khan guy...he's looking for something"

"Why do you say that?" J'onn asked 

"His attacks has became often-too often in fact, attacking day and night, all around the city...something seems fishy, this isn't how Rama Khan is. He's searching for something and I don't know what it is but I just know it"

"Hm, you do have a point, we'll keep an eye, as for now I want to ask you something"

"Go ahead"

"Do you want to join us, Supergirl and I and the others to help stop Rama Khan and so on?" my eyes widen and couldn't believe what I'm hearing 

"Really?" I asked making sure he wasn't kidding 

"Yeah! I mean me and the rest of team had discussed about it so?" Supergirl landed beside J'onn, confirming that I'm being recruited and all I wanted to do was jump, dance and scream in excitement but I wanted to keep it professional 

"Y-Yes, of course! It'll be an honor!" 

"Great! Let's head there right now!" Supergirl said and as we turned Rama Khan appeared once again although this time we all had our guard down and wasn't expecting this to happen 

He planned to hit Supergirl but before that happened I pushed Supergirl out of the way, hitting me instead, blasting me far and tumbling down to the dirt, scratching me every part of my body  

I felt pain everywhere, I tried to sit up but the pain was just too much then I felt a damp spot on the side of my stomach I looked and noticed a hole on my shirt and a red fluid coming out

I groaned and whimpered when I put pressure on it to stop the bleeding then in the distance I heard someone calling me, it was Supergirl and J'onn. I didn't want them to think I'm weak, I didn't want to bother them, it would be too much

So I teleported myself back to my apartment
