Whistling to himself as he picks up a can of beans, John hears the TV begin speaking in a rushed manner.

"There appears to have been a major gas leak in the building on Baker street-" John turned his head and watched the screen. "The apartment 221B took most damage. So far the police have found no bodies or any signs of anyone-" John's felt as if his heart had stopped as they presented his and Sherlock's flat on TV blown up. John dropped the can of beans and ran out the store, leaving behind the groceries he was about to purchase. His feet thumped against the ground hastily, him not even bothering to call a cab, it would take to long he thought.

When he arrived he was panting tiredly, ignoring the pain in his leg. He rushed into the building, ignoring the police's protests and barged into the flat. The place was filled with a thick layer of dust and a few things were on the floor because of the explosion. John noticed his and Sherlock's armchairs held no dust and neither did the coffee table neatly placed next to them.

"SHERLOCK?!" John asked, his voice cracking as he nervously looked around for his girlfriend. The soft noise of a cabinet being closed came from the kitchen, followed by a robe-wearing Sherlock.

"No need to worry, John. I'm fine. I arrived a moment later after the explosion. I haven't been here for long so I couldn't clean up before you got here." She asked calmly, sitting down in her armchair plucking her violin gently. John blinked various times and then sighed with relief. "Tea?" Sherlock offered as she gestured to the teapot on the table John had failed to notice with a nod of her head.

"Yes, Thank You." John said as he sat down in his own armchair, rubbing circles on his temples with his index fingers. Sherlock knew she had worried John, noting how he forgot all the groceries he said he would buy. Sherlock calmly made John a tea just the way he likes it and smiled as placed the teacup in front of Jonh, seeing how he raised his head instantly as he acknowledged the steaming delight in front of him. He quickly grabbed it by the handle and took a sip which caused him to retract immediately as he burned his tongue. Sherlock giggled.

"Slow down, you idiot. You need to wait for it to cool down."

"I was never really good at taking things slow." John said before he winked at Sherlock, who abruptly hit a high pitched cord on the violin before her face became scarlet.
