Running through a spaceship hand-in-hand, John and Sherlock hurriedly tried to reach the TARDIS. But before they could make it, they were stopped by Cybermen. Cybermen covered all the exits, preventing their escape.

"The Time Lords will be deleted!" All of them said in unison, raising their arms to aim their lasers at them. Sherlock looked quickly around her, her only choice seeming very difficult.

"Doctor." She said to John. "I'm going to have to do it." She said, John quickly turning to her with a distressed look.

"No no no no! We still have a chance! Don't make any rash descisions." John said desperately but she shook her head, already positioning herself in front of him.

"It's okay." She hugged him, John struggling in her grasp.

"No!" John yelled as Sherlock and John started glowing a bright gold. The gold light disappeared in a blast, damaging the Cybermen's circuits.

"All is good." Sherlock said, smiling at John.

Before a laser beam was heard. Sherlock opened her mouth in a silent scream, collapsing in John's arms with a choked gasp.

"NO!" John screamed, glancing behind Sherlock to see a Cyberman falling back, the blast of gold light surging through it and finally killing it.

John kneeled on the floor with Sherlock in his arms, his eyes watering when he saw the blood oozing out from Sherlock's back. The laser had hit her right behind her right heart, weakening her instantly.

"Stay with me. Sherlock, stay with me. Don't do this to me."

"Doctor, I've lived a long time. I think it's time I left, you know?" Sherlock said with a weak laugh.

"No. You are not leaving me. Not you too."

"Doctor, I can't let you use another regenaration just to keep me alive." Sherlock said stubbornly. "I wasted all my regenarations. But each second was totally worth it." Sherlock smiled.

John's face was contorted into one of pain, fresh tears rolling down his face. Sherlock slowly placed her hand on John's cheek, looking at him in the eyes.

"This wasn't your fault. This was my choice." Sherlock said, John helplessly looking at her. "My choice. Okay?" She asked, John's lip quivering as he nodded vigorously.

"Okay." He said brokenly. Sherlock laughed weakly.

"We just quoted one of my favorite books." She commented before grabbing John's tie and pulling him down for a last kiss.

"I love you, John Watson." Sherlock whispered between breaths.

"I love you more, Sherlock Holmes." He whispered back.

They pulled away and Sherlock smiled sadly at John, her eyes slowly closing.

"Idiot." She whispered.

Her whole body went limp, John placing her body on the floor before he broke down into tears against her chest.

"Cut!" The director said, everyone on set applauding for the actor's performance.

John lifted his head, sniffing and rubbing his eyes. Sherlock sat up, wiping away her own tears.

"Excellent work, you two. Willow, those fake tears were a nice touch. Keep up the good work, guys." The director said, patting John on the shoulder before walking away with his assistant.

"Those weren't fake tears." Sherlock said with a laugh. John smiled at her, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"C'mon. I think you deserve a coffee." John said, bringing Sherlock up with him.

"I think we need to talk to Moffat about that raise." Sherlock said, causing John to let out a hearty laugh.
