Sherlock sat down with her legs stretched out, her back against a tall old tree. She placed a wide, long blanket on the grass, not wanting to get her clothes dirty. She checked her phone tiredly for any new messages, actually expecting for her boyfriend, John Watson, to text her back. Both of them had gone on a field trip to a forest just to have fun but they found an injured bird and decided to stay for a few days. All they were doing was finding healing plants all over the forest, and frankly Sherlock had grown tired of it. She opened her music app when she saw no new messages and put on slow songs that can lull anything or anyone to sleep.

From the distance she saw a brown bear walking lazily in her direction, making Sherlock go stiff and rigid. The bear casually walked up to her, not making any noise besides the leaves crumbling at its feet. It laid on her blanket, placing its head on Sherlock's left leg.

From the corner of her eye, she noticed a very puffy orange fox taking long strides towards her. The fox did the same as the bear, laying its head on Sherlock's right leg. A light brown bunny with greenish eyes also joined in, curling up next to the fox.

Sherlock hesitantly placed her hands on all three of the animals, petting their incredibly soft and rarely touched fur.

John approached quietly, avoiding the withering leaves at his feet. His eyes widened and he froze in place, thinking the animals had attacked his girlfriend. He was surprised when he found them all resting, excluding Sherlock.

Her head was resting back against the bark of the tree, her hands resting on the fox and the bear's head. She was singing along to the music calmly emanating out of her phone, the animals dozing off peacefully. John took a quick picture before leaving them be, searching the forest for different kinds of healing plants he required for the bird.

The bear let out a groan when the song ended, Sherlock having to put it on repeat just to keep the animals and herself happy and safe.

(A/N: Half of this is true.)
