John and Sherlock had a heated argument about something in particular and none of them have said a word to eachother for several hours. They both feel the tension and want to seek reconciliation but neither one of them know how exactly they're suppose to do that. Sherlock was watching TV while fiddling with her ring, an absent habit she had developed. John sat next to her, keeping a distance none of them were fond of.

John looked at Sherlock quickly and saw she had tears in her eyes. He looked back at the TV and noticed she was watching an episode of Doctor Who neither of them liked. Doomsday.

"I-I love you." The Doctor's companion, Rose, admitted to him. He already knew it. "Quite right too." The Doctor said. "I suppose it's my turn to say it too. Rose Tyler, I-" suddenly the Doctor disappeared and Rose broke down.

So did Sherlock.

She sobbed quietly, muffling her sobs with the sleeve of her oversized hoodie. John extended his hand to run a hand through her hair and she welcomed it. She leaned into his touch before scooting closer and resting her head against his shoulder and she sobbed. He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close, placing a kiss on her head.

After a while, she calmed down but left her head resting on John's shoulder. He didn't seem to mind.

"I'm sorry for fighting." Sherlock said almost inaudibly but John heard her. He stroked her hair gently, a small frown in place.

"I'm sorry too." John admitted. Sherlock sniffed and wiped away her tears with the palm of her hand. "Hey, Hey, look at me." He told her softly, lifting her chin up with his thumb and index finger. His eyes met her pink puffy ones and he instantly felt a pain in his chest. "Don't cry." He flared his nostrils and the corners of her mouth twitched. "Don't cry. Lemme see that smile." He flared them again and saw the corner of Sherlock's eyes crinkle slightly.

"Bananas are a good source of potassium." John said seriously, and with each syllable he flared his nostrils. Sherlock bursted into a fit of giggles and pushed John's shoulder playfully.

"You idiot." She giggled, causing John's face to break into a grin.

"But I'm your idiot." He corrected and kissed Sherlock's cheek. She kissed his cheek and booped his nose.

"And I'm yours." She said with a cheeky grin.
