Sherlock's phone rang through the silent flat, causing her to groan and pick it up without reading the caller's ID.

Sherlock clenched her jaw, answering into the phone. "This better be important."

"Sherlock! Let's go bowling!" Molly practically screeched into the phone, causing Sherlock to flinch away slightly.

Sherlock's eyebrows knitted in confusion. "Why would I-"

"Everybody is going!" Molly said excitedly. Sherlock sighed, about to give her a lame excuse but Molly spoke up before she could say anything. "John is going!"

"When?" Sherlock asked, trying to seem as uninterested as possible.

Molly stifled a laugh, knowing Sherlock's intentions already. "It's today at six!"

Sherlock glanced at the clock in the kitchen that read 5:01. Sherlock mentally checked her schedule, finding herself free.

"I'll go." Sherlock said. "But only for John." She heard Molly squeal before she hung up.

Sherlock had to hurry.

"Hello!" Molly greeted once Sherlock arrived. Many people greeted her, Sherlock not knowing most of them but still trying to be polite since Molly insisted she should be nicer.

"Hey." John greeted with a smile, pulling her in for a hug. She instantly hugged back, always finding his embrace welcoming.

Sherlock, being the shyest of the both of them, practically whispered her response. "Hi."

After a while, both of them were getting more comfortable around each other.

Sherlock swung her arm, letting go of the number seven bowling ball. She knocked down three pins on the first try, knocking down one more when she tried again. She looked back at the people waiting and slumped her shoulders.

"Here, watch the master do it." John said, cracking his knuckles and grabbing a number 12 bowling ball. He walked past Sherlock, swinging his arm like she had done and the ball went to the side, not hitting any pins. He tried again and the same thing happened. Sherlock giggled behind him, making him frown.

"Oh sure, I should do that instead. Really professional." Sherlock said, earning a glare from John.

Sherlock went again after a few people and knocked down most of the pins. When it was John's turn, he swung his arm back and when he was about to let go, all the alarms sounded and red lights flashed. He froze in place, the ball slipping out of his hand and rolling quickly. He looked down at his foot to see he had crossed the line. He turned his head to look back and saw Sherlock holding her sides as she laughed.

John stepped back after seeing he made a strike, fist pumping in victory. Everyone was clapping and snickering around him but he ignored them as he stomped in Sherlock's direction, grabbing her arm and pulling her up forcefully. She looked at him in surprise, her laughter subsiding when she saw the seriousness in his eyes. He then pulled her against him and leaned in, pressing an eager kiss to her lips.

When they pulled away, Sherlock looked dazed and out of breath as John turned away and pulled her along, not telling anyone where they were going.
