Another!

Sherlock and John were invited to get another costume party, but the theme was different. The theme was Avengers. And Marvel in general really. But they had to stay in character.

Sherlock was assigned to be Tony Stark and John as Steve Rogers. The other characters were assigned to other guests.

Sherlock reluctantly placed gel in her hair, styling it to Tony's hairstyle. She grabbed a marker and also did the facial hair. She worked a lot with making the core Tony has, having slight trouble with placing it on her chest. When she finished she waited patiently for John, who was probably making a mess upstairs. Luckily, he already had the costume done.

John single handedly passed a comb through his hair and it instantly styled into a quiff. He adjusted his suit and then ran down the stairs to meet with Sherlock again. He walked into the room and smiled, Sherlock's back was facing to him.

John began to creep behind Sherlock but she turned her head and smiled. "Nice try, Rogers." She said. John groaned and then stood up straight.

"You always kill the mood, Stark." He said in return. "You ready to go?"

"Sure." Sherlock said with a shrug.

And so, they left to the party and met with the rest of the Avengers. When they entered the living room with intertwined hands, they were met by Jeremy Renner throwing darts perfectly while Mrs. Hudson clapped happily, Chris Hemsworth drinking beer at the table with Lestrade, Robert Downey Jr. chilling on the sofa very comfortably with Chris Evans while Scarlett Johansson was playing Operation with Mark Ruffalo and Molly. They were all wearing their costumes. All of them stopped what they were doing, turning to look at the couple with huge smiles.

"Surprise!" They all yelled collectively.

It was then that Sherlock noticed the giant sign that said 'Welcome back John & Sherlock'. She remembered that John and her had just returned from 'vacation' as Sherlock called it, in which Sherlock was hospitalized because of John's fiancé. He had yet to know.

"I- I-" John cleared his throat. "This is...?"

"Brilliant!" Sherlock squealed. She released John's hand and hurried to Chris Hemsworth's open arms.

"Lady Holmes, it is good to see you alive and well!" He bellowed happily with Thor's voice, to which she giggled.

"Hey, Chris!" She replied happily, squealing as she was lifted and then put down.

"Good to see you again." Robert said, patting her shoulder as she let go of Hemsworth.

"Heya, kid." Jeremy greeted with a quick hug.

After everyone else greeted Sherlock with hugs and pats on the back or on the shoulder, they all turned to John, who was standing in the entrance with his mouth slightly open. He dropped his Captain America shield in shock and took off his helmet.

"The-the-T-The...You know the Avengers?!" John squeaked, his eyes wide. Sherlock grinned and whispered something to Chris Evans, who smiled in return and walked towards John.

"Welcome back, soldier." He said to John. John gasped as Chris pulled him into a hug, nearly strangling him. Everyone else approached them, greeting John with hand shakes and side hugs.

"You look as good as me, Holmes." Robert said half flirtatiously from next to Sherlock, earning a punch on the shoulder by Chris Hemsworth. Robert turned to Chris, only to see Chris was gesturing to a very angry looking John who was staring at Robert.

"Watch yourself, Downey." Sherlock said with a smirk.
