John entered the flat, struggling to walk properly because of the heavy grocery bags in his hands. He hurried to the kitchen and placed the bags on the conveniently clean counter top. He let out a sigh after putting them down and rolled his shoulders forward, cracking any bones and stretching any muscles. He placed everything in its rightful place as quickly as possible and went to the living room. He stopped abruptly, taking in everything in front of him with an open mouth.

"John!" Sherlock squealed happily. "It's about time you came out!" She blinked twice before awkwardly adding "Of the kitchen, I mean."

Around Sherlock was a red plaid blanket sprawled over the floor with her sitting in the middle. All the couch cushions had been removed from their normal place and were placed around her to form a square. In front of her, stood their two armchairs with a flat screen television in between both. A brand new silver GameCube was under the television, two controllers connected.

"But- What- How-?" John gaped, his finger pointing at various things in the living room.

Sherlock rolled her eyes, a white mug that said 'I Need A Doctor.' randomly appearing in her hand."Now, don't be so surprised. You've found me in much more strange scenarios." John blinked quickly, standing in the doorway dumbfounded. Sherlock patted the floor next to her, scooting over to the right. "Come along, John."

John shook his head, doing as Sherlock said and sitting cross-legged like her. Sherlock reached behind her and pulled out a black mug with the words 'I Need A Detective.' engraved in white bold letters, giving it to John. He took it and sniffed at it, smiling before taking a sip.

"Would you like to play Mario Kart with me?" Sherlock asked hopefully, gesturing to the silver controller in front of John.

"Isn't that a bit childish?" John teased, fighting back a smirk when Sherlock gasped and generally looked offended.

Sherlock grabbed her controller, gesturing to John with it. "You're a bit childish and you don't see me complaining." He rolled his eyes and was about to protest but Sherlock beat him to it. "Those Pokèmon items never go unnoticed by me, John. You should know that by now." John blushed, taking a sip of his mug silently as he avoided eye contact.

"Pokèmon is not childish." John muttered out an arguement weakly. Sherlock imitated his voice in a mocking tone before gesturing to him with her controller frantically.

"Are you going to play or not?" Sherlock asked hopefully, her eyebrows raised as she waited for an answer.

John rubbed his chin, taking a sip and then frowning when he saw the mug was empty. John lifted his mug and raised an eyebrow at a hopeful Sherlock. "Will there be apple juice?" She instantly smiled, already getting up to look for more in the kitchen.

"Certainly."
