CHAPTER 23

Loving him is one of the best things that I ever did in my whole life. I know our friendship might ruin if something happened in our relationship.

Pero tanggap ko na 'yon, noong araw pa lang na naging kami, tinanggap ko na sa sarili ko na kung ano ang kahihinatnan tatanggapin ko.

I became happy in his arms. I'm always happy when I'm in his arms. I'm always happy when he's with me because Andrew is my happiness.

Our relationship is not perfect, dahil walang perpekto sa mundo. He said he will marry me but for now? I don't know if I will still be hoping for that to happen.

I'm quietly holding a newspaper. Hindi ko alam na may ganito. He said he's busy in his law school but what is it?

Siya ba ang tinutukoy o ang kapatid niya? Siya ang ikakasal o ang kapatid niya?

I don't know how I should react to this news. This isn't new, some wealthy family is a vivid fan of fixed marriage. They always did it just to make their company become bigger.

I trusted Andrew so much, I trusted him with all my heart. Lahat ng sinasabi niya pinagkakatiwalaan ko dahil mahal ko siya.

If he's the one who is destined to marry this girl then I will accept it but I won't promise that I wouldn't chase him.

Binitawan ko ang newspaper at kinuha ang cellphone.

Ako:

May dapat ba akong malaman Andrew?

I waited for him to reply on my message but minutes passed I haven't received any response from him. Padabog akong tumayo at nagtungo sa kwarto ko.

Sinubsob ko ang mukha ko sa unan at mahinang umiyak.tang ina naman kasi! Ano na naman ba 'to? Nangako na siya pero ano na naman 'to?

Napabangon ako ng tumunog ang cellphone ko. Akala ko si Andrew na pero hindi pala, wala naman ata siyang balak na tawagan ako e. He's busy, I'm just his third priority not his first and second.

"Bakit kuya?"mahina kong tanong

"Wait, are you okay?"he asked

"Oo naman."I cleared my throat and made my voice into a jolly one.

"We have plans,nasa HQ kami. Come here ASAP!" I rolled my eyes.

"Okay..."

Pagdating ko ng HQ ay nag discuss agad si kuya sa gagawin namin. This will be a big mission for me- mission that will make me sleep peacefully when it will be successful. A bigtime culprit who killed my sister,A bigtime drug lord who killed my sister.

Ate Makukuha na namin ang hustisya, malapit na ate . Please guide us...

Months after our successful mission,I finally get the justice that I've been waiting for a year. He's in jail and we assure that he couldn't get out until he died.

"Flaire,na miss kita! Saan ka ba nagpunta? Wala ka sa review center."Via said. I smile at her and tap her shoulder.

She finally found someone who can make her happy,someone who will love her. It's Ivan.

"May mga inayos lang ako. Kumusta ka?"

"Ayos lang naman,busy sa pagrereview. Ikaw ayaw mo mag take ng exam?"

"Baka next year na, marami akong kailangan tapusin e," natapos man ang malaking misyon ko kailangan ko pa rin tumanggap ng panibagong mission.

"Kayo ni Andrew? Anong balita?"she asked again.

"Ewan? We haven't talked, he's busy."

"Sabagay, law school 'yon e, pero sana naman kahit 10 minutes lang. Wala talaga?"umiling ako at tipid na ngumiti sa kanya.
