Part 48 - The broken and the whole -

I sigh and walk out of the bathroom.
- Why did you talk with my father? I ask and she looks up at me from where she is sitting.
- Because it was important, why you asking?
- Just curious.. I sit down on the window frame, just staring out. - Do you see anything in your right eye? - Barely, you know when you wake up and it's blurry? She nods.
- That's how I see now.. I take my knees up to my stomach. - But, I'll get used to it.. I say in a whisper. Hopefully fast.. - Can you not ask Gothi to help? Didn't she get Astrid's eyesight back when she was younger?

- I'm not going to bother her, she has enough to do. "No point in trying Sera, my rider is way to set." Thunder says while walking in.
- Thunder. She says and stares in his eyes.
"Just give up, this is something you won't win." He says, his eyes almost piercing through her's. - Why didn't your sister heal her after yesterday? She asks, accepting defeat.
"Avira cleaned the wound, Snow and mom did not have energy enough to heal it, but one of them will when they're back." Sera hisses at him. - They could've done it when we woke up! She yells annoyed.

"No they can't, if it's early or they've just woken up their healing isn't strong enough."
- That's stupid, since when was that a thing!? She asks loudly.
"It's been like that for Snow since last year, I have no idea how long mom has had it like that." - But why, what happened? Thunder growls at her. "No need to know, ask Snow."
- Why can't you tell me? You know!
"Of course I know, I'm just not bothering to tell you." He lays down next to me and I pat his back. - Wh- Rude. She says and Thunder laughs. "I may have some respect for you, but still not enough." He yawns and closes his eyes.

She looks at me with big eyes and does some gestures. I chuckle a little. - Yes, he has an attitude with other people and dragons. I say, like it's the most normal thing.
"You don't get special treatment just because you're dating my rider." Thunder says, still having his eyes closed.
Sera looks at him in disbelief. - Bad idea to hit him, just warning you. I say when I see her clenched fists. She snorts and sits down again.
I shake my head and hum, then go back to staring out.

- You're not worried about them? Sera asks after some time of silence. - I'm always worried, but I have a feeling they are fine. I hear her sigh, stand up to open the door for Windy so she can get in. Vireos jumps up to me and I pat him until he falls asleep.
"Snow and Luna are on the way." The razorwhip says to me and I nod. - Thank you. I smile when I see them land.
They get in and bring the herbs and other stuff to the kitchen. "Avi come here so I can heal u!"
Snow yells and I groan, carefully removing the dragon on my lap and jump over T.

She heals my wound and I thank her.
- Did you two find what I asked for? I ask, going towards the bag.
"Yeah, we found everything." - That's great, thank u. I check through them all, washing them before planting the seeds they also came back with. - What are they good for? Sera questions and walks over. - Pain killer herbs, and rare healing herbs. I answer and show her one of each type that's fully grown.
- Healing herbs?
- Yes, they are plants that can heal you, it's not as good as the light fury healing, but it works.
- Why are they rare? - Only place you can find them is in the black markets. I hear and see my mother. I sigh and nod. - Yeah.. you have to be very lucky if you find them out in the wild.

- And here is my question my dear daughter, how did you get them? I nod to S and L and they go out. I jump up on the counter.
- I trade. - With who? I hope you know that the black markets are bad. - I'm aware, but I trust the people I trade with for now.
My mother comes closer to me. - I don't need to trade anymore tho, if everything goes to plan. I state and she hugs me. I get a confused look on my face.
- You're not mad? I ask and she pulls away.
- I believe you're still learning and I'm not gonna stop you. She says, her fingers caressing my cheek. I smile softly at her.
