Part 29 - Home and packing to go to Berk -

We get home at the end of the weekend and I start to stress out. "Can you calm down Avi? We have time before we leave." Thunder growls at me and I groan. - I know, but.. I don't have any idea on how we're going to get everything here back to Berk! "Chill, we can carry stuff and get others to help." He says and I snarl lowly. Vireos looks at me worried and I sigh and try to calm down. I take him in my arms and kiss him softly. "Something wrong mother?" Thunder asks Luna when she lands. I lift an eyebrow when Snow isn't with her. "Hunters, they have captured dragons." She says and I get big eyes. - Where is Snow, she isn't captured right? "She is fine, she's keeping an eye out to see what they're doing." I nod and run in to the house and put Vireos down.
- You have to behave and stay here, we'll be back. I say and lock the door and run over to Luna and jump on her.

She gets us to the island, it's an island we never are on because we don't have the time to check it, since it's a lot bigger than the others. I jump off her and Snow lands down with us.
- Anything? I ask. "There are at least thirty dragons caged up here, might even be more."
- Do you know what they want with all of them? She shakes her head. "Probably something bad, you know how they are." I nod and walk towards the campsite. I gasp when I see the cages full of dragons. I hide when some vikings walk past us. The dragons growl angrily and I put my finger up and they go silent.

- We have to figure out how we're going to get them out, we can't let them stay here. I look around and see vikings everywhere.
"There are a lot of them.." Luna says and I nod. - We have to distract them..we can't kill them all. I see something in my side and turn to see a man. I roll my eyes and throw my knife in his chest and he gasps and his eyes go lifeless and he falls. Snow takes the knife fast and gives it to me.

I look around and a bigger man calls everyone in. - Come on. I say and run over to some cages with many dragons. I break it open and see my dragons do so too with the others. We manage to break free all the dragons that we can see and we run away and take off before we get caught. We land home and go into the house and I start to pack stuff, even though we are not leaving until next week, I want to be ready so I don't need to stress the day before, I'm already stressing enough.

I finish packing for the day and let myself fall down on the bed. Snow growls and puts her head softly on my stomach. "Take a deep breath, I know you're worried." I do as told and groan. - I feel like I'm gonna regret going back, but then I remember why I am going there.. she nods softly and takes her head up so I can sit. She looks out of the room and watches the others play. "It might not even be that bad, you never know." - Yeah, sure.. Snow huffs and smiles at me softly. I stand up and walk out with her behind me.

I see Vireos and Luna play. I sit down on the ground, ignoring the snow around me.
"You're lucky it's bare right there." Thunder says and lands. I shrug. - I don't really mind getting wet, I've had it worse. He nods a little. The two dragons stop playing and Vireos jumps up to me. - I'm so excited for you to get older. I say and he squeeks. I pat the young dragon on the head. I flinch when I see a nadder land and roar loudly before taking off again. I stand up and look after it.

- What was that? I ask and my dragons look at me worried. I hiss a little when a titan wing monstrous nightmare flies after the smaller nadder. I jump on Snow and we fly after them and shoot the titan wing. The titan wing roars loudly and flies after us. The dragons split up to take him down. 

Thunder gets hit and falls down to the ground harshly. I scream his name and Snow dives down and I jump off before she lands. I run to him and hug him hard.
- Don't you dare leave us like this! I yell and look at his closed eyes. Luna comes down after dealing with the titan wing and nudges her son softly. "He is unconscious, probably gonna be for a few hours, luckily not dead." She says and I feel tears streaming down while hugging the black dragon. - What are we gonna do? Vireos is alone home and he is too heavy for you two to carry.. I say, feeling lost. "I can go get him, if you don't want me to stay there." Snow says and I nod. - You can stay there.. just be careful, I don't need to lose two dragons for real.. still not even sure if Thunder is going to survive.. She nods and flies off.

I lean myself on Thunder's body and hold around myself. Luna puts her head on my lap and I sigh. - How did he even manage to get hit, he is fast.. I whisper. "Even the fastest dragon can get hit.." Luna says and I groan.
- Hopefully he's going to wake up soon.. I don't want to leave Snow and Vireos alone for too long. "He landed pretty hard, not going to be surprised if he has broken anything."
- Fantastic, just what we need then.. I hiss and she snorts. "Just saying so it doesn't come as a shock if he has."

Five hours later
I feel Thunder move and open my eyes fast and stand up and stare at him. He opens his eyes and looks around and hisses. I lift an eyebrow and look where he is looking and flinch. Luna roars loudly at the wolves. Thunder stands up and starts glowing blue. I take my bow and start shooting at them and the dragons blast them up. The wolves that survived runs away from us. I look up at Thunder and hit him and he growls out of pain. - That's for scaring me. I hiss and hug him. - For not leaving us.. I whisper and he laughs softly. (Like mother like daughter) - How are you feeling, nothing broken? I ask and he shakes his head.
"Little numb on the side I landed on, but don't think anything is broken." "Jeez you're one lucky dragon." Luna says and hugs him.
- Lu is right, you could've died.. I say.
"But I'm alive, am I not?" - You are, and we're happy, but we have to get home to Snow and Vireos, and something is telling me that Snow is going to be one mad dragon. He groans.
"I don't want to die because of my sister."
- And you probably won't, but prepare yourself. He nods and I jump on Luna and we take off.

We land softly after an hour and see Snow and Vireos eating. Snow sees us and runs over and tackles Thunder. "Six hours Thunder, SIX HOURS!" She yells and Thunder puts his ears down. "Actually only five.." She bites him and he yelps out of pain. "But I know Snow.. I'm sorry for worrying you.." he speaks softly and Snow huffs and goes off. "Don't you fucking do that again." He nods a little and we go in to eat and play with Vireos.

This chapter was fun to write, maybe because of that little angst I had in there, obviously I would never kill any of the babies ;}
