Part 23 - Problems, always -

We land on the island and start looking around. I see blue oleanders and run over to it. The dragons snarl and stay far away. I take a sample and put it in my bag. Hopefully they don't react to it if it's in my bag.. I see a flower I've never seen before and walk over to them.
- Guys, come here please! I yell and they fly over. I take one up and they smell it. They nod weakly and I put it in my bag. - What flower is this tho? I wonder and look at the ones who are on the ground. "Gothi might know?" Thunder asks and I shrug. - Maybe, but we need to continue searching.

We find some other flowers we suspect that can be the reason for the dragons death. I see Luna shake her head a lot and I walk over to her.
- Hey, you alright? I ask worried. She looks at me and I notice her pupils are dangerously slit. I get big eyes. - What is it you're reacting to? I ask her, trying to get contact with her. She snarls and I back away a little. Where are the two when you need them? I hiss under my breath and look around. What the heck is she reacting to.. we need to find that out before trying to cure her..

"Something wrong with mom?" Snow asks and I flinch, didn't hear her come. - I think she has got something in her that's not good for her.. I say and she gets big eyes. "The same with that dragon?" - I have no idea, we don't know how he reacted to it. I dodge the plasma attack from Luna just in time. I look at her and she snorts angrily. "Mom, stop it! You're going to kill someone if you don't come to your senses!" Snow tries with no luck. - We need to get her to Berk somehow.. "How? We have no idea if she is going to kill us or anyone else!"

- That's a risk we have to take, if this is the reason why that dragon died we have to try and help her! She puts her ears down. "I'll get my brother, try not to get killed.." I nod and she flies off. I try to go closer to Luna but she hisses at me and I sigh. - Luna, what did you eat? I ask her and she looks at me confused.
- You can't understand me huh? I ask and give up. I look behind her and see some white with a little black flowers. I walk over to them and she roars loudly at me. - I need one so we can try to help you, I'm not losing you to this! I try to reason with her. I see her pupils starting to get to normal, but they still are slit. I take a flower fast and put it safely in my bag, just in time.

"We are here, what now?" Snow asks and I walk over to them. - You guys don't react to anything right now? I ask and they shake their heads and I breath out relived. - We have to get her to follow us somehow.. you two can't have her on your back when she is awake.
"Tried to talk to her?" Thunder asks and I nod. - It doesn't look like she understands me anymore.. "That's just great..maybe we should try to get her angry?" He suggests. - It's not a stupid idea.. but Berk is far away from here.. "We can manage, as long as we figure this out." I jump on Snow. - Okay, we'll do it..

They shoot close to her, being careful to not hit her. She roars out loudly and takes off and we speed up and fly towards Berk. I can hear her trying to shoot us down. - If she goes invisible it'll be dangerous for us. I whisper to them and they growl. "Then we have to hope she doesn't do that." Thunder says and looks behind to see where she is. "We have to speed up sis, she's getting closer." "But this is the fastest I can go!" She answers and I feel her tense. Thunder growls softly and shoots at Luna so she stops up a little, but not too much. "You can do it sis, we believe in you." he looks at me and I nod.
- We are here for you. She puts her ears down a little.

"Try to have your tail fins a little more out." Thunder says, trying to help. She does and the speed rises a little and Thunder smirks. We continue to fly with Luna after us.

A day of flying

I feel the dragons becoming more tired and I pat Snow on the neck. - You two are doing great. I praise them before looking behind to see if Luna is still behind. I sigh. I'm sorry Luna, but it's for the best. I see Berk and smile weakly. - We have to fly straight to Gothi, we have no time to lose. They nod and manage to speed up. We land and I run to knock on the door before Luna comes. - Gothi! I yell and she opens the door. - We need help, big time! I say stressed. - What's wrong young girl? She writes and I point towards Luna. Gothi gets big eyes.

Luna shoots at Snow and Thunder and they dodge them all. I give Gothi my bag.
- Please. I beg and she nods and goes inside to look at the flowers we found. - You're going to attract attention Luna, stop it! I yell at her and she roars. "We really have to find a cure, she is going to try and kill everyone here if we don't, she's strong enough to do so!" Snow says and I nod. I look at what Gothi is doing.
- Find anything? I ask and she nods and comes to me with the white/black flower and a book.
- This flower is dangerous for dragons, the rare ones at least. I get big eyes. - Is there a cure? I ask. - There is, but you have to find the ingredients fast, she might not have long. I look at my dragons trying to not get killed.

- What do we do with her? She is going to destroy the village if we don't do anything. I say and she nods and points to the training arena.
- You mean I should lock her in there? I ask and she nods. I really don't want to..
- I guess it's the safest.. I say and jump on Thunder.
- We have to lure her into the arena. They agree and we fly down with her behind us. I jump off and run over to a cage and open it up.
- I'm sorry girl.. I say before Thunder scares her in it and she roars loudly when I close it. We fly back up to Gothi to get the ingredients. She wishes us luck before we leave to find the ingredients. - I'm so sorry that you two have to fly so much. I say and they shake their heads. "We'll be fine, we need to concentrate on our task." Snow says and I nod before reading the list.

- We are going to need a eel.. I say and they stop up. "Seriously?" Thunder asks and I nod.
- I can get it, don't worry. "Well, we can go and get it now?" I nod and we go to a lake that has eels. I let them stay on land while I search for one. I find one and take my knife and stick it in and take it up and I show it to them and they back up. I chuckle a little before putting it away and we fly off to the next place. I look around for a clover. I find five and put it away.
- We need a sample of purple oleander? I ask confused. I shake my head and we fly off to find one. I look at the sun coming up and I groan.

We find everything that we need after some hours and we land back down to Gothi and the dragons collapse to the ground and I scratch them. - Sleep you two, you deserve it. I say and they nod. I give Gothi the stuff and she mixes it. - Go give it to her, it might take a little time before she's back to normal, I'll take care of these two. I nod and run down to the arena. I hear her roar and trying to shoot. - You don't have any plasma blasts girl. I say when I open the cage just enough for me to slide in.

- Here, it'll help you. I say and she roars loudly and I react fast and put the cure in her mouth and she looks at me with big eyes. She shakes her head a lot and I look at her worried. She throws up the flower and I see it's the white/black one, like predicted. I look at her and she is breathing heavily. - Lu? I ask and she looks up at me with round pupils and I run over to her and hug her tightly. - I thought I would lose you. I whisper and she growls softly.
- Don't you ever eat a flower you don't know what is.. I whisper and she nods.

- Come on, we'll get back to the others. I say and open the cage and we walk back up to Gothi. I see the two siblings sleep. - They are not going to be ready to fly before tomorrow. She writes and I nod, understanding that they are tired. - We'll stay here then, Luna needs rest anyways. I say and she nods and pats Luna. We lay down beside the two others and fall asleep.
