Part 30 - Actually going to Berk -

Day before they leave
I massage Thunder's left side, since he had gotten a little stiff on that side since the titan wing incident. - Hopefully you're going to get better, we'll get Gothi to check you when we get there.. He groans. "Hope I don't need any medicine or no flying, I will not handle that."
I snort at that. - If that's what you have to do to get better, then you have to. He nods a little and his ears perk up. - Anything wrong? I ask him worried and he signals for me to jump on his back. I do so and he flies off to another island not to far from ours.

I jump off after he lands and look around us.
- What's up here Thun? The others are not here like I know.. should not be at least.. Thunder just continues to walk and I follow him confused. - I swear to god if we have to fight I'll- I stop talking when I see different breeds of dragons around a small fire. Thunder runs over to Luna, Snow and Vireos, leaving me confused. He smirks and roars out loudly and all the dragons look over to me and form a line on both sides. Snow and Luna flies over to the stone behind the fire.

- Avira Haddock, can you come up here? Snow asks and Luna smiles proudly. I swallow nervously, having no clue on what is happening but trusting my dragons. I get up to the stone and kneel down to them, body moving on it's own. I feel a hair string get pulled off and whimper a little. Luna throws it in the fire and a fire picture of me comes up and I gasp. The picture blows and the fire dies down slowly and the dragons roar loudly. - What just happened? I ask and they laugh. "The dragon in you is released, you're not only a quarter of a dragon." Luna explains and I get big eyes.

- So.. this was a ceremony for..me? She nods and smiles softly. I hug the girls and sigh.
- Why didn't you tell me? I could've dressed more nicely! I scold them. "We wanted it to be a surprise, and you look amazing." I snort a little and decide that we all should have a little fun before tomorrow.

We get home to the island late at night and everyone just fall asleep, exhausted but happy.

We wake up a little later than wanting to, but we get done with everything that we need to get done. I put on some type of saddlebags on all the three dragons and Vireos jumps around and Thunder snorts. "He should enjoy being small, he doesn't need to carry stuff."
- He is lucky indeed. I say and scratch Thunder. - But, it's not always fun. He shrugs a little. I make sure we have everything that is essential for us.

- We ready then? I ask and jump on Snow, not wanting to give Thunder more to carry. I take Vireos up to me and we take off and fly towards Berk.

I jump onto Luna halfway through, so Snow doesn't need to have us on her all the time. I yawn a little. - The night was exhausting.. I groan and they nod. "But fun!" Snow says excited and I smile softly.

We land down on my family's house and I jump down and land softly on the ground. I open up the door and sneak inside as silently as I can. I put my finger on my mouth when Toothless stares at me. - Don't say a peep, I swear I'll kill someone. I whisper and he rolls his eyes. "Wonder how you guys didn't wake anyone else up, wasn't exactly a silent landing." He comments and I shrug.
- Someone is going to wake up if you don't keep it down. I whisper and look around the dark room. Wait, it's supposed to be dark here.. "First time using your dragon senses?" The black night fury asks and I lift my eyebrow. "Congrats on finally getting your dragon side out." - Does everyone know or what?
"I don't think so, all dragons probably tho."

- But to answer your question, yes it's the first time I'm using them.. he laughs silently but goes dead silent when hearing something upstairs. I hear someone walking and hide under Toothless's wing. He snorts but lets me and closes his eyes. - I swear I heard something down here.. I hear Evelyn say. Hiccup comes down and the lights turn on. - It's late Eve, I don't think anyone is here, right Toothless? Toothless nods weakly. I peak out and see Thunder walking around and my eyes go big.

My mouth makes inhuman sounds and I put my hands over it. Fuck fuck fuck! - Something you're hiding bud? Hiccup asks and gets a no back. - No? Why can I see Thunder basically walking outside freely? Eve asks and I groan and come out from my hiding spot. - Surprise. I say sarcastically and roll my eyes. It takes Eve a second to realize it's me but she hugs me tightly. My body reacts on its own and goes hot so Eve let's go of me. I shake my head a little and calm myself down. - What are you doing here? She asks and I close my eyes.
- Because I have to, otherwise all of you would die, same with the dragons.. I explain.
- The rumors.. they are true? She asks and I nod. - I don't know what rumors, but I believe they are about me having the soul of a dragon.

- Basically.. all of them I've heard from the dragons, I wasn't sure if it was true. - It is.. I say and hold my hand out and she takes it and my body heats up. - So it reacts like that when someone touches you? She asks. - I guess so, I'm still learning how to control everything.. I look over to my father and sigh. I walk over to him and hold my hand to him, telling my body that it's okay. - Are we good? I ask and he hugs me tightly, yet softly. - Of course we are, I've missed you. He whispers and I smile weakly and hug him back. I let go of him. - I'm gonna need my own house tho, me and the dragons are not going to fit in here.. I say and my father nods.

- We'll start building tomorrow, for tonight we'll figure something out.. he says.
- Is the house I lived in the first time I came here still empty? It'll probably do until we get a bigger one. I look at him and he nods.
- It is empty, you can go there with your dragons. - Thanks. I say and run out and jump on Lu and we fly down to the house and Vireos starts to jump around again. - We need to sleep Vireos, we have a pretty long day tomorrow.

I take the saddlebags and put them down in a corner. We go to our sleeping places to sleep.

When the morning comes we all go outside to walk around the village. I ignore the stares that we get while walking up to Gothi.
- Hey Gothi! I greet her and she smiles a little.
- When did you get here? She asks me.
- Late at night, but I need you to check on Thunder if you can. I answer and she nods and Thunder lays down and she starts with the check up.

It takes her half an hour before she finishes.
- What happened with him? he is pretty stiff. She writes and I sigh. - Got hit by a titan wing monstrous nightmare a week ago. She looks at the male. - Well, what have you been doing for him? She asks. - Given him massages every day, it has gotten a bit better. - That's good that you've done that, he is going to be fine in about three days if you continue like that.
- Seriously? That's amazing! I say and hug her. - Thank you, and I'm sorry that I only come here when I have a problem..

- It's alright you, you're staying here aren't you? I nod. - I am, and already feel like leaving, people are staring at me like I'm a monster..
- They are probably shocked to see you, give them time to adjust. - You're probably right, thanks. - Another question Gothi, can I still fly him like always? - I believe you can, but if he says it hurts you need to take a break. I nod thankfully and we leave her to her things.
