Part 40 - New people -

I wake up and groan loudly. Sera chuckles a little bit and kisses me on the cheeks. I smile softly and stand up, grabbing my clothes and put them on. - Can't you stay in bed? She pouts and I chuckle. - I'm sorry babes, you'll get all the snuggles when I'm back. She lights up when I say that.

- You'll stay and eat, won't you? She asks, hugging me. - Of course, come on. I say and take her hand and we walk out, greeting the dragons and giving them their foods, then I take out some food for us and we dig in.

We're done eating in thirty minutes and I clean everything up and I kiss her softly on the lips.
- Come to me if there is anything, don't miss me too much. I say and walk out, S, T and L after me. "What is happening today?" Luna asks and I shrug. - We'll find out. I say and watch Gobber talking to some people.
- Avira! I hear him call out when he sees me, we walk over to him and I lift an eyebrow.
- Who's these? I ask him, looking at the two women. - They ran away from their home, they need a place to live in. He explains and I snort. - I will have to talk to them, I don't want people I don't know on Berk. He nods, agreeing on what I'm saying. I walk up with them all to the great hall.

- Name? I ask, taking some paper so I can write down anything that I need. - Fro, this is my partner Drotni. The redheaded one says and I nod. - Dragons? I ask and they nod and whistle, two monstrous nightmares comes flying in. I walk over to them and look over to see if they're hurt or anything. - Do you two understand them? I ask and they shake their heads. - I just want to ask if your riders are good people and if I should accept them. I say and they nudge me. "They are both the kindest out there, but they can be easily agitated, but they won't do anything bad." - Hm, telling the truth? "We can't lie to you, Avira Haddock." The pinkish one says and I nod a little.

I walk back so I can look at the two women.
- How old are you? I ask, guard less up.
- 18 and 19. Drotni answers and I lift an eye.
- What made you flee your home?
- No one accepted the fact that we're two women in love, so we took the decision together.
- Why Berk of all places? I keep eye contact with them both.
- We have heard so much good things about the place, how everyone's so including and loving.

I nod, smiling a little. - I won't say that you two will be permanent members of Berk, my parents will have to decide, but for now you two can stay. - Thank you so much! They both bow to me and I chuckle. - I'll show a house you can stay in. We walk over to the little house and I let them get used to everything and the people.

I walk around the village to check on everything and see a house with holes all over. I lift an eyebrow and look around, seeing Gobber and I yell for him to come over.
- What's up lad?
- This house, why isn't it fixed? - Your father has probably forgotten about it, same with other houses around. - What!? They are dangerous if they don't get fixed or rid off, we would have more places for the people and wouldn't need to build new every time.
- You're speaking the truth Avira, I'll get men up to the great hall. - I would prefer that the women here could also help, if you don't mind.

- Of course, see you up there! I wave to him and snicker. - The village will be better when mom and dad gets back. I say to my dragons and they nod. "Of course, you have an eye for improvements." - Living alone is not that bad. I say and wink. The dragons laugh a little and I jump on Luna. - You two can go up to the great hall, we're just gonna check if there's any threat close.

Both of them nod and run up to the hall.
- You're feeling like yourself again? I ask my dragon when we're up in the air.
"Closer at least, I can feel that I've gotten shot." She chuckles a little and I sigh.
- Why didn't you tell us that you were going to fly? She puts her ears a little down.
"I guess I was worried.. I don't know."
- You know that you can tell me everything, you don't have to keep secrets.
She sighs and I hug her. - I'm just happy you're alive, I thought we lost you. "I'm happy too, I'm sorry for worrying you.."

I keep an eye out for anything and smile.
- I hope they're okay out there.. I say out loud and Luna growls softly. "They are, don't worry." I nod and we fly back to the great hall when we can't see anything. - Welcome welcome, I hope you all are ready for some hard work! I say out to the people here, probably 20 vikings scattered around.
- I don't know what Gobber has been saying, but I've seen buildings in bad conditions and I want everyone of you to fix them! Everyone nod and I smirk.

- I need to know what everyone is good at so I can give you work, I don't remember everyone after all. I write down everyone who is here and put them to work, some gathering wood, some finding tools. They start building all the houses that needs fixing and I sigh content.
- But why did my father let them be like this? I ask and see my sister. - Freezing Eve? I ask her and she snorts. - No, what's happening?
- Fixing buildings that father hasn't done.
- It's been hard Avi, stop being rude.
- Hard!? He's been after me instead of taking care of the people! I yell at her and she hisses.

- You haven't helped much either! You've tried to kill him! - Because he has tried to kill me! Only reason I came back here is because the dragons and people would go down! She backs up a little. - Go do your own stuff before I put you to build. I say after a minute of silence. She hisses at me before turning and walking off.

I snort and Luna lands in front of me.
- What's wrong? "Some dragon has apparently been terrorizing a nest of dragons, they need help." - And help they will get, who told you? I ask, confused on how she got to know.
"Thunder heard some dragons around here talk about it." - Well, you know where the nest is then? She nods and I jump on.
- We'll talk with Sera to ask her if she can look after the village. I say and she nods and flies up and to the cove. - Is she here? "Mhm, saw them fly here earlier." I nod and jump down.

- Avi, what are you doing here? Sera asks and I flinch. - Looking for you, can you look after the village for a little? - Where are you going? She takes my hand. - Gonna go check on some nests.

She sighs and nods. - I'll look after everyone, go save the day. She says and winks.
- Thanks, you're the best! I say and kiss her before jumping back on Luna and we fly back up to the sky.
I see the island and see dragons fly everywhere.

What do y'all think? Give me ideas to what should happen in the story, should anyone die?( Not the dragons or Avi and Sera, not killing off my children) Gimme something to work with so I know what you want.
