!extra! Part 33 - Lovebirds exploring -

!This chapter doesn't necessarily have a big impact on the story, but I thought it would be cute to just write a chapter with the two lovers! There may be some stuff that play a part of the story, but it's easy to note, example when they are at the island!
Avira
- So Sera, how old are you? My father asks and I roll my eyes. - I just turned 17 actually! She says cheerfully and I get big eyes. - So you are the same age huh? - Stop with all the questions Hiccup, no need to make her afraid. Mala says and smiles to us. - It's totally fine, I like questions! - You're way too positive about everything babs. I say and she hits me, making me hiss out of pain. - I like her. My mother says, making everyone laugh.

She puts her head on my shoulders a minute after. - How did you two meet actually? My mother asks and we both freeze up. - I saved her from some vikings years ago, and we reunited a month or so..
I answer after a little bit of silence. I feel her relax more and lift her on my lap.
- Really? That's not that long. She answers.
- Maybe, but we became good friends when we met first. She nods and stands up.
- Well, it's nice to meet you Sera, you're welcome to join the family whenever you want. Sera bows a little to my mother.
- I appreciate it, thank you.
- Of course, we'll be in our house if anyone needs us, see you! She waves and they all leave.

- You lied about how we met.. she says weakly and shakes a little. - Not really, I just didn't tell what place we met at, I don't need her to be more worried. - Understandable, it's a lot of trauma and pain.. - You got more tho, you were there longer, I'm surprised you're still standing.. - Because of you, you gave me a reason to continue, you showed me love.
- You're going to kill me, I did what I had to.. I hug her tighter and she closes her eyes.
- I love you, so much. She says and I get big eyes. - You don't need to say it back, I just felt that it was right for me to say it now.. she says softly when she feels me freeze.

- It's not good for me to have you in my life, giving me a heart attack every time. I laugh and she snorts.

We stare at the stars for who knows how long, before Snow comes back to us. "Come on lovebirds, time to sleep." I sigh and drag her up with me and we fly back to my house.
I hold her tightly when we go to sleep, afraid that anything will happen to her.
Hours later (Read next chapter to understand)

- I'm sorry that I left.. I whisper in her ear and hear her sniff while hugging me, tears wetting my jacket. I lull us so she can calm down.
- I'm here with you dear, I'm not going far. I say soothing and she nods weakly. - Can I see you? I ask softly and she shakes her head.
- I'm gross looking.. - You, gross looking?? Bubs, you're literally a goddess on earth! I say, mad that she said it. She giggles a little and pulls away. - Am I? She asks and I look at her puffy face. - Yes, I don't understand how I can have you in my arms. I say and put my hands on her cheeks. She puts her forehead on mine and I hug her.

- I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me.. she whispers and I shake my head.
- You got scared, it's a natural reaction darling. I give her kiss on the lips. - But you know that I'm safe. She nods and curls up on top of me, I see her breath slow down to a calm pace. I place her back on the bed and lay down to sleep with her.

We wake up some hours later and I kiss her on the cheek. - Morning babs. I say and she snuggles closer. - Can we stay in? She asks and I boop her nose. - I would love to, but we have stuff to do, I have at least. Sera groans annoyed and sits up. - You think I'm allowed to move here? She asks softly. - I'm sure you can, we can ask my parents? - Can we ask your mom, I'm a little intimidated by your father. I hug her a little. - He isn't gonna kill you, but sure, we may have to ask my father also, but I can do it.

- Thank you babe, I appreciate it. She kisses me and stands up, then puts on her clothes, I do the same and we jump on our dragons and fly around Berk.

- I don't know if I can ask, but why did you leave? Sera asks and I sigh. - Because I didn't want my father to rule over me, and I wanted to keep both Thunder and Snow. - Wait, you weren't allowed to have both? - I don't know how it would go if I stayed, but back then, not really.. - Why? - I guess because my father wanted to make sure I didn't over work myself, I was only twelve years then. - You're literally the strongest person I know, why didn't he see that?

- I may be strong physically, but not mentally, not then, not now.. I shake my head a little and smile softly. - I guess you're good at faking it, most of the time at least. I laugh and nod.
- I guess, I've been doing it for some time now, I'm just waiting for the day it all just gets too much. - Do you have any idea when that'll happen? If ever of course.. - I don't know, probably whenever it wants to, something has to trigger it, and I don't know what will, but I'm pretty sure it will happen. - Do you know what'll happen?

- No idea, maybe I will try to kill someone, something that is not unusual, or I will just break down, which is something that doesn't happen often, I can't even remember the last time I cried because of my mental health.
- Let's hope you don't go on a killing spree. She says and I laugh. - We'll see if it happens, someone will probably get hurt if not killed. She takes my hand and just holds it while we fly.

We land on an island four hours away.
- I wonder if we will find dragons here, and what types. I look around and she smiles.
- Maybe we will, I'm not sure if it will be rare ones, but we never know. She says, trying to keep the same pace that I have. I laugh a little and slow down. - Am I walking too fast for you? I ask and she hits me. - Not my fault that I'm 5"4 and you like 6"2 or something. She rolls her eyes. - The accuracy on the height tho.

- The audacity. She says back and I smirk.
- You should've known what you went into when getting together with me. I say and start walking faster, dragging her with me.
- Show off. She mutters and I laugh.
- You love it. - I'm not sure if I do. I hum a little at that. - Sassy today, aren't we? I ask and stop up to look around. I hear something and go towards the sound. - Lu, can you see anything? I ask my dragon and she shakes her head.
"Not yet at least." I just continue walking with Sera after me, the dragons flying over us.

I see a big hole down where there are hundreds of dragons just relaxing or doing their stuff.
I get big eyes and just sit down looking at them all. - Its amazing. I say in awe and they all nod. - I'm sure you two can go and be in the fun. I say and they fly down to the hole. - We are not going? Sera asks. - I don't want to ruin their peace, who knows if they are used to humans. I answer and she nods and lays down on my lap and I start fidgeting with her hair. Her breath calms down and she seems at ease.

- Avira? I hear and look behind. - Valka, hi! I say and Sera sits up again. - What are you two doing here? She asks confused. - We found this island and wanted to explore it. I say and stand up to greet her properly. Sera stands up after a minute to also greet her. - You must be Sera, nice to meet you. - Nice to meet you too.

- What do you two think about the place?
- It's so beautiful! We both say and laugh.
- Agreed, the dragons have done such a good job here. - Do they lay eggs here? I ask her, knowing that it is the season for egg laying for most species, and she nods. - Some do, some don't. - Can we see? I ask excited. - Sure, jump on Cloud Jumper and we'll go down to them, just don't make any sudden moves, they can get scared, even though they are used to humans. We jump on to the back of the storm cutter.

We walk around the nests and I see a egg that looks like it's hatching. - It's a night fury egg. I say and walk towards it. - I've seen that egg alone a lot, I don't think it has parents anymore.. - It's an orphan? Sera asks and Valka nods. - Yes, that's what I believe. Sera looks at me with big sad eyes. - Can I take it? She asks and I get big eyes. - You, a night fury? I ask, not believing what I'm hearing. - Yes.. I'm very aware I may not be the best when it comes to that breed, but I want to try.

- You can take it if you feel like you're ready, you have people helping you, but I don't think it will be done hatching before tomorrow morning, or tonight. - Night fury's can be difficult to train bubs, but I will help if you need. I say and kiss her forehead. - Thanks, sorry to take your breed. I shake my head and laugh. - I've never claimed the night fury breed, my father has probably. She nods a little and takes the egg and we call the dragons back. We all fly back to Berk and put the egg safely down on some hay.

Whoop whoop, Sera is going to have a second dragon! This idea just came to me, it wasn't planned at all :3 one idea I don't regret.
