Part 37 - Chieftess -

I crouch down to touch the footprints and feel how deep they are. - These are not his, they are way to deep and do not look like a night fury's..
"What if he flew?" Windy asks. - I doubt that, how? He doesn't have a working tail.. I stand up and look around for anything. - I swear if he is captured without anyone noticing! I run up to my family's house and open the door.
- Mother!! Have you seen Thunder!? I yell.
- Inside voice woman, no I have not seen him, is he gone? She walks to me, worry in her eyes.

- We think he is either captured or lost somewhere, but we haven't found him.
- Any clues? - We saw some footprints, but they are way to deep and different from his.
- Sadly I haven't seen or heard anything, I've been busy talking with Ivan and the others.
I roll my eyes. - Can I say that I hate the new rules? - I'm aware, but we are experimenting with it right now. - Yeah yeah. I snort and shake my head.
- Still stupid, bet you or dad will get one angry fury here when he hears about it. - I dare him to hurt us. - Don't dare him, he will do it then.

- We'll see, but first you need to find him. She smiles softly at me and I sigh. - I just hope he is okay, he is vulnerable right now. I turn around and run to the forest again, even though he wasn't there earlier.
- Thunder! Stop playing around please!! I yell as loudly as I can. - It's not funny anymore! I try to listen to anything around. Where are you?.. I almost walk into a tree and hiss before continuing to walk.
I hear something growl behind me and turn slowly to see what it is.

I breathe out relieved when I see my dragon.
- Fuck u. I say with an annoyed tone. He laughs at me and gives a nudge. "Payback is a bitch I guess." He grins and I hit him. - What the hell made those footprints on the ground? I ask him, still not fully happy with him.
"Oh, those..ehe.." I see blood on his chest and groan. - I swear, you and Luna can't stay out of trouble. I shake my head. - Come on, we'll go home and get you healed.

Snow roars angrily at him the moment we get back. They start a argument about everything and I hold for my ears so I don't lose my hearing. "You can just bleed out." Snow huffs out after five minutes of them going back and forth. "You can't do that Snow!"
"Oh I can, I'm the one with healing powers!" She fires back sassily and sticks her tongue out. - Play nice now Snow, please heal him. I say after they're done and she hisses at me. I lift an eyebrow at her and she puts her ears down and heals him quickly.

- We were worried about you Thunder, we thought you were taken. Sera says, holding around me, assuring me that he is actually with us. "I'm sorry.. I just didn't want you all to know that I'm weak.." - You, weak? You're stronger than you believe Thun. I say softly. "How am I strong if I get hurt?"
- Everyone gets hurt once in a while, look at your rider. Sera says and shows my arms, all my scars from the past showing. (Sera is allowed to do this btw! Don't worry!)

- We all get hurt, you learn from it. I say and pat him. - Now, go and check on your mother. He nods and goes off with Snow.
- Don't bicker! I yell when I hear them start.

- Siblings. I say and roll my eyes playfully.
Sera chuckles a little and I hold her.
- Something wrong? I ask worried.
- Hm? No no, I'm fine. She smiles and puts her head on my chest.
- You know you can tell me, right? I kiss her on her head and rest my chin on her.
- I know. She looks up at me, a smile on her face. - I feel like you're plotting something. I say, oddly suspicious of her. - I would never. She says innocently and I snort.

I flinch when I hear the baby dragons play.
- Oh Thor, forgot them for a minute. I say and Sera laughs loudly. I put food ready for them all to eat. - Tired? I ask and she nods.
- We'll go and sleep now if there is something! I call out, getting a okay.

- Love you.. I whisper and she blinks a little, shocked that I said it. - No, I don't say that just because I want to, well, fuck u. I say, embarrassed. - Babeeee, I love u too! She kisses me and I sigh. - Night. I say sleepy and she yawns. - Night.

I wake up at like nine in the morning and put on my clothes. I look at Sera and kiss her softly. - Wanna wake up love? I ask and she groans tired. - I'll have food ready for you! I call out when I'm at the door.
I take out the leftovers and warm them up, then I set them on the table for us to just take.
I put out fish and meat to the dragons.
- Morning Windy, slept well? I ask the razorwhip. "Yes, thanks for asking." She smiles a little. - That's good, hungry?
"Starving." She answers with a little laugh.
She takes the fish and eats it.

I sit down to eat and just talk with her.
- Morning sleepyheads. I say when I see all of my dragons come out, an hour later.
"Morning, where's the food?"
- Where they usually are Thun. I answer and he nods, I notice that he walks like he is drunk.
- You good Thun? It looks like you're drunk by the way you're walking? Snow laughs at him. "Snow hit him hard on the head before they went to sleep, guess he is still dizzy." Luna says and I snort.

- Snow, stop abusing your brother. I say and she rolls her eyes. "He is fine, he'll be his ordinary stupid self in a few minutes."
"I'm not stupid!" - No you're not, be kind now Snow. She nods weakly and takes her fish and eats it up.

I see my mother come towards the house and open the door. - Mom, what's up?
- Can you be chieftess for the rest of the week? She asks, looking at me with hope.
- Wh- Why, where are you and dad going?
- We have to travel to other villages to talk with them, please Avi, this will be good for you. I groan at her pleading voice.
- Fine, but don't come at me if the village is burnt down when you're back.
- Please don't burn it thanks. I hug her tightly.
- Please be careful.. I whisper and she nods.
- Of course, we're leaving in two hours. I nod and watch her leave.

"Well, wasn't that a bomb to drop."
- Really Snow? This will be interesting tho.. I sigh and let myself fall to the ground, letting out a little yelp. The dragons laugh a little at me. "You're probably allowed to get help."
- You think I will ask for help? "True.. you stubborn ass." I hit her and roll my eyes.
- This village will be burnt, I bet. - No it won't Avi, not when I'm here. I hear over me. She lifts me up, only for me to sit back down on the floor.

- Come on bae, stand up. I shake my head violently. - Don't wAnNa. I say, chuckling a little bit of my own childish behavior.
- Wh- Oh Odin help me. She says, facepalming. - Tihiii! You love me! I say playfully.
- Sadly I do. I pout when she forces me up.
- You're gonna get dirty down there. She says and I smirk. - No! You know what I mean! Stop with the smirk! She says, desperate to stop my thoughts. I jump around and laugh at her.
- Hey, I'm trying not to be a pain in the ass! I say and pout more. She takes my head in her hands and kisses me on the forehead.

- I appreciate the effort, but now you gotta get ready. - Do I not look good enough?
- You look amazing but go get clothes that don't have blood on them. I groan and go back to the bedroom, looking through my clothes. Something that's not covered in blood.. fun.
I find something and put it on, feeling a little fresher and badass. I look at my hair, which is also becoming a mess. I get it out of the braid and brush through it with my fingers before leaving it like that.

Sera looks at me with big eyes. - The heck, why do you look like a different person!? I laugh at her a little. "You look stupidly beautiful."
Snow says and I scratch her. - Thank you, it feels weird tho, but also better, it's strange.
- Gosh, I have no words. Sera says, her eyes shining and I pull her into a soft hug.
- Hey, you're still so much better looking than me. I kiss her and she snorts. - Look at you! You're literally looking like a goddess right now! She almost yells at me and I chuckle.

- Cmon, we have to get started with the day.
- Gonna be a busy week for ya, are you even gonna have time for us? She asks worried and I nod. - I will always have time for you. I hold her hand and walk out, worry can easily be read on my face.

I literally had no idea on what to call this one, so why not jut call it chieftess even tho it's not a lot about her being it yet, that'll be the next chapters I believe.
