Part 20 - Winter is here?-

2 weeks later
"Avi get out here!" I hear Thunder and run out and fall because of the unexpected snow. Wait snow? I stand up and look around to see white surroundings.
- I was right? I ask and they all laugh.
"You were absolutely right, it's snowing!" Snow says and plays around and I smile, happy that they are excited. I look at Thunder and he shivers softly. I go inside and get a big enough blanket for him to keep him warm. He smiles softly.

"You can use your powers to heat yourself up, you don't lose stamina or power if you do." Luna says, trying to help her son. "I can?" He asks confused and she nods. He tries to mimic what she does. It works after a few tries and he jumps around happily and we laugh.
- That's something I didn't know, is it because he is a nightlight? I ask and she shakes her head. "All dragons have ways of keeping themselves warm, this is our way."
- Woah, I can't believe I didn't know that. I say stunned and write it down in my book of dragons, it's like the book Berk has but has a little more information about night fury/light fury than they have.

"Well, it's not something to really show off, and it doesn't really show on the dragon." She says and I nod. I look at Snow and she looks sad. I walk over to her and give her a big hug.
- What's up, aren't you exited? I ask and she smiles slightly. "I am, I love the snow.. I'm just bored I guess." - I feel you, it hasn't been a lot of flying happening the last two weeks, but I thought it was good giving you guys a break.

"Yeah.. but it gets boring.." - I'm sorry girl, what about going to fly now? I ask and she stands up exited. - Hey guys, shall we go flying? I ask and they nod and we take off.

We fly around and see white on every island we fly over. We land on an island and I sink in the snow. - It's a lot more snow here. I say and walk around. I see other footprints and walk closer and take a closer look on them. I follow the prints with the dragons behind. I see a campfire and hide behind the trees. I see a razorwhip and start to think that it might be Windy. I can't see Luna or Snow anymore but I'm not worried about them, since Thunder isn't stressing out.

- Yeah, I agree Windy.. we might not have a chance unless we find a place to stay.. I hear a girl and I know it's Sera.

Sera
"What about asking that girl you like?"
- No way, she doesn't have space for us, she already has three dragons! I answer and sigh.
- Sure, I would like to spend more time with her, but I know we both have changed a lot since we parted.. "You can't know before you ask, you guys became good friends when you were at that torture place." - I guess.. but I doubt she likes me back like I do..

"She kissed you back for the love of Thor! Twice! I would say she likes you back."
- What if she kissed me back because she didn't want to be rude? "I doubt she is like that, I don't know her that well, but isn't it ruder if she kissed you back and not mean it?"
- I guess you have a point..but she could regret it.. "Why don't you ask her?" She asks and looks behind me and I see a black dragon, Thunder. She is not far away.. I stand up and the dragon seems alerted and growls, looking like warning someone. I hear a yelp and I lift an eyebrow. I look at Windy and she nods.

I sit down again, listening closely for any movements. - See any of her other dragons? I ask her and she shakes her head while looking around. "I don't see any paw prints either."
- I doubt she came with Thunder only.. "Wouldn't be so surprised, he is the new alpha nightlight in the archipelago after all."
- He is? I ask and she nods. "He beat Toothless two weeks ago, many people know about it by now, all dragons too." - She is going to have to be careful.. he is going to attract a lot of different people.. I whisper and she agrees.

"I believe she knows the risk of having an alpha, she already has one if I'm not mistaken, just that she isn't a show of." - What are you talking about? "Snow is apparently the next queen, after her mother, I might be mistaken." I get big eyes. - She has a family of alphas and queens! I nearly yell, but keep it down so they can't hear. She nods. "I'm not sure, but it makes sense." - If this gets out.. she is in danger. I say and she nods. "No matter how strong they are, they can't defeat an army of vikings." I swallow hardly at the thought of them dying.
