At some point in the night, I left Bellamy's tent and went to mine and Harper's tent. Harper offered for me to stay with her, and I was very thankful for that. Before, I would sleep with John wherever we could find space. Doing that gave me a sense of comfort, knowing John was there next to me one way or another.

I haven't seen Bellamy since we got back. The truth is, I don't want to.

I was lying on my back in my cot, staring at the roof of the tent, when I heard commotion come from outside. Harper was still peacefully sleeping on her cot, so I made my way out as quietly as I could. When I did, I saw a group of people gathering and looking up at the sky.

As I walked over, I saw Octavia, so I went up to her and asked, "What's going on?"

"Something is coming down." She said as she pointed at the sky. When I looked up, I saw what appeared to be a shooting star.

"From the Ark?" I questioned, and the minute I said it, I added, "Of course it's from the Ark. Where else would it be from?" Octavia just snickered at my comment.

"They're coming to help us." A kid, I remembered his name being Jones said. "Now we can kick some Grounder ass."

"Please tell me they brought some shampoo." I rolled my eyes at the comment. Looking over to my right to see who made the stupid comment, I end up seeing a shirtless Bellamy standing next to Octavia. When did he get there?

I look away so quickly I think I almost broke my neck. I didn't want to be caught looking even remotely close to him.

My eyes stupidly trailed back to where Bellamy was standing, noticing two girls next to him trying to cover themselves with blankets. I can only assume what Bellamy's been doing. That's a great way to spend our time on the ground. I sarcastically thought to myself.

"Go get your stuff." Octavia ordered, pulling me from my thoughts. "Let's go see what's in that thing."

I went back to the tent to grab my jacket and boots for the hike to the pod. When I pick up my green jacket, I pause for a moment, remembering when John got me this.

~Flashback~

Sitting at the table in mine and my brother's quarters, I'm fiddling with this flashlight that had decided to break. "Damn it." I mumbled when I couldn't get the wires to splice.

All I had to do was get these wires to splice, and it should start working. The thing is, I'm terrible at splicing wires.

Suddenly the door to the quarters opened and I immediately got up to hide when a voice stopped me. "Jo, it's okay. It's just me."
