"I think I understand." I spoke up to Finn as we still waited in B Corridor. I was leaning with my back against the wall.

"Understand what?" Finn adjusted himself where he was leaning against the wall.

"Why you think giving yourself up is the best option." I elaborated. "If I wasn't your best friend, I might actually agree that it's logical. But I am your best friend, so I'm not going to think that letting the Grounders kill you is the best option."

Finn's eyes were set straight ahead as he spoke. "Why should you risk the lives of everyone here for mine? Mine's not worth any more than theirs. Especially not now, I'm a murder."

At Finn's last words, my head snapped towards him. He had a somber expression on his face like he was thinking about everything he had done. I believe this is the first time I have ever seen Finn truly regret his actions. It meant... some part of the old Finn is still in there, and I was going to hold on to the part as right as I could.

"Finn, that's a strong word to use. I don't think that fits in the description of you. You're kind and caring. All you want is peace, you don't want to keep fighting. You are there for people when they need you — I'm a prime example of that." I went in front of Finn and put a hand on his shoulder. "You're good, Finn Collins. Even if you've done bad things."

There were a couple long minutes of silence before Finn spoke. "I'm sorry. For what I said a couple of days ago."

I quietly sighed. "Thank you." It meant a lot to me that Finn apologized, that he admitted what he said was wrong. It felt like there was a door that needed to be closed — a hole that needed to be filled, and now it was; because Finn apologized, and I made peace with him — I was willing to give him a second chance. I knew now that when he said what he did, it really wasn't him talking.

Both of our heads turned toward the hallway where footsteps were coming from. Clarke came into my sight, and I backed away from Finn. I gave Finn a small nod before starting to walk away. I figured he and Clarke would want to talk to each other alone.

To my surprise, there were people in the hallways crowding it. I had no idea what they were doing; my best guess, find shelter from the potential Grounder attack.

Walking through the Ark, I saw Bellamy storming the hallways with an even more on edge look on his face. "Bellamy." I stepped in front of him and put my hand out, hovering over his chest. "What's wrong?"

Bellamy looked down to meet my eyes. "I think they're going to give Finn up." That was all I needed to hear. Bellamy and I fell into step together as we made our way back toward B Corridor. It shouldn't have surprised me that they were going to turn on Finn. The fight last night should've been a dead giveaway. They were willing to give Finn up then, and they are now.

When we got there, Clarke and Finn were right at the entrance. "Finn." I called out.

Both Finn and Clarke turned to the two of us. "You need to get out of here." Bellamy explained.

"Where would he go?" Clarke questioned.

I looked to Bellamy because I didn't know the answer to that question. "The Dropship."

We all started walking back the way Bellamy and I came. "No." Clarke argued as we did so. "You both know that this is the safest place—"

Bellamy interrupted the blond. "It isn't. They're turning on him. We can protect him at the Dropship till we figure this thing out. Grab your gear, meet at Raven's gate in five. She's already working on cutting the power to the fence."

"Okay, but nobody's coming with me." Finn stopped.

We all did the same and turned back to him. "That isn't up for discussion." Said Bellamy.
