After another long drive in the Rover, we finally made it to the first trading post we would be stopping at. As soon as Monty completely stopped the Rover, I opened the back door and jumped out first. Being stuck in the back of Rover with Pike was not ideal, so I wanted to get out as soon as possible.
Everyone came out of the Rover, and Bellamy led the way to the open door of the trading post to see a woman getting thrown around and beaten by a Grounder. Bellamy raised his gun and wasted no time shooting the Grounder in the back, making him fall dead on the floor next to the women. With my gun raised, I followed Bellamy further into the trading post, and when I saw no one else, I lowered my weapon.
As the women quickly got up from the floor, Bellamy asked, "Are you okay? Are you alright?"
I quickly realized that the woman's face was all bloody, and she had skepticism that we were here to help on written on it, which had me speaking in a calm voice. "We're just here to help. Are you okay?"
Hesitantly she nodded at me before my head snapped over to Indra, who hovered over the dead body. "Bounty hunter." She muttered before searching the rest of the trading post as she spoke in Trigedaslang. "Oso laik hir gon help." (We are here to help.)
"English!" Pike snapped from where he stood with his sword still held out as I resisted the urge to roll my eyes at him.
Kane seemed to not like Pike's tone either because he ordered the man, "Pike, go outside. Take Monty and Hannah and search the perimeter. Make sure he was alone."
My uneasy eyes met Kane's before I gave him a stern look trying to convey that we shouldn't have let Pike come. He would become a liability at this point with how intense his hatred was to the Grounders.
"Oso laik lufa au Wanheda." (We are looking for Wanheda.) Indra spoke, causing my head to turn to where she and the other Grounder woman stood.
The Grounder woman's eyes diverted to the bounty hunter on the ground. "So was he."
"Please." Bellamy spoke with a quiet voice. "She's in danger."
"Do you know where she is?" My voice matched the tone of Bellamy's.
"You're Skaikru?" The Grounder woman questioned, and when Bellamy replied with a small 'yeah', she told us, "She was here last night."
Kane stepped forward. "Did she say where she was going?"
The Grounder woman shook her head. "No. She was here when I fell asleep, and gone when I woke up."
"She give you any indication of where she might go?" Kane interrogated further with urgency in his voice.
"No." She shook her head again as a small sigh left my mouth that we may have just lost our lead on where Clarke was. "But he did. He said that his partner came back for her. It was Ice Nation."
