Everyone left me.

Well, maybe that was a bit dramatic. A group of people, including Clarke, Bellamy, Finn, and Raven, went to the Exodus ship crash. I opted to stay behind; I was in desperate need of rest.

Lying on my side with my eyes closed in mine and Harper's tent trying to get some sleep, Harper all of a sudden burst in. "Can you believe what Jasper did?"

I grumbled to myself; keeping my eyes closed, I turned on my other side, facing away from Harper. "I'm sorry, Harper, but I don't care. If you don't mind, I'm trying to get some sleep."

"Jo, you were there. Wasn't it so cool?" Harper said excitedly, walking around our tent.

"Yeah, it was sure cool, alright." I remarked, not moving from my position.

It then dawned on me. Sitting up, I faced Harper with a knowing look. "You like him, don't you?"

She softly scoffed and fought back a smile. "Jasper? No. I just think it's brave what he did."

"Oh my God, you definitely like him."

Harper, who was tired of my crap, gave in. "You know what, I'm not doing this with you." She grabbed her jacket and left, leaving me alone in peace and quiet.

I went back to my original position, laying on my side and closing my eyes; I mumbled to myself, "That, ladies and gentlemen is how you get someone to leave so you can get some sleep."

You just got to annoy the crap out of them enough to get them to leave.

After a few good hours of sleep, I slowly woke up. It wasn't long before I began to hear commotion outside the tent. I slowly got up and made my way out into the night. I noticed Octavia rush by, so I grabbed her arm to stop her.

When she turned to face me, she had an expression I couldn't quite decipher. "What's going on?" I asked.

"Nothing." Octavia stated blankly. "Just please, stay in your tent."

I furrowed my brows in confusion before asking more firmly, "Octavia, what the hell is going on?"

Octavia sighed before leading me towards the Dropship. We stopped just outside of the doors when she made me face her. "Before we go in," she started. "are you absolutely sure you want to know what's going on?"

I got more and more confused at Octavia's words. "Yes, I'm sure."

Both of us walked into the Dropship. As soon as we entered, I saw kids with guns crowd the bottom floor. All of their eyes were as wide as saucers and the only sound filling the room were their shaky breaths. They all had their guns and wide eyes directed at something in the back.

I pushed a few kids out of my way to get to the back to see what they were all staring at with Octavia right behind me. Once we both made our way to the back, I stopped dead in my tracks at what I saw.

"John?"

I could barely recognize the person in front of me. His face was all bloody; cuts covered his entire face, dry blood covered those that didn't have cuts. His hair was in an oily and bloody mess, spreading all around his face. One of his eyes is almost swollen shut. His shirt was completely soaked with blood. He had cuts all up and down his arms and on his fingers. Blood still pouring out of some of the fresher cuts. It looked like he's been through hell.

"We found him outside the wall." Octavia explained from beside me.

I didn't say anything — I couldn't say anything. All I could do was focus on the boy in front of me, the boy that was curled up in a ball on the Dropship floor and looked terrified beyond belief. The boy that is my twin brother, who I thought was dead.
