The group of us had set up a small camp just outside the wall of Tondc. A small group that included Octavia, Lincoln, Bellamy and I, sat around a fire we had going. I sat between Bellamy's outstretched legs with my back resting against his chest. Octavia and Lincoln were sitting off to the side of us as Raven was behind us, doing what, I couldn't tell you, and Clarke and Lexa were nearby conversing. In front of me, I watched the flames dance in the fire, listening to the crackle. I still felt weak from what happened — I was better but, I wasn't a hundred percent.

"How did you know it was Gustus?" Lincoln spoke up.

I didn't take my eyes off the fire when Bellamy explained. "He'd do anything for her. To protect her." There was a pause as I felt him shrug. "It just makes sense."

I moved my head to look up at Bellamy and gave him a warm smile. I knew if it weren't for him or Clarke, I wouldn't be here right now. I'd be dead.

"Look at the thanks he got." Octavia said, her eyes on the ground.

Just as I opened my mouth to say something, Raven called out, "Guys."

I pushed myself off the ground, as did everyone else. Clarke also came over to see what Raven had.

"What is it?" Bellamy asked.

Raven was already walking towards us as she held the radio in her hand. "Listen to this."

I did just that and what I heard had me frozen in place. It was Jasper; he was speaking on the radio. He said that forty-seven of our people were in Mount Weather. Then he said something that made my heart hurt. He said that they've taken Harper and that she could already be dead. I was scared for Harper — scared that she could be dead and I would've lost another person.

"Talk to him. Say something." Clarke demanded.

"It's repeating." Explained Raven.

"They're alive." I breathed out.

"We need to do this now." I looked up to Bellamy. "We've got the alliance, now's the time to use it."

I could still hear Jasper's message as Clarke spoke. "First, we need an inside man." My head snapped to her. "You were right. Without someone on the inside to lower their defenses, turn off the acid fog, an army is useless. You should go."

"What?!" I all but shouted at the blond. This was the first I heard of Bellamy going into Mount Weather to be an 'inside man'.

"I thought you hated that plan." My head snapped back to Bellamy. "That I would get myself killed."

"Bellamy." My voice was in a warning tone as I realized in that moment; he had offered to go.

"I was being weak." Clarke stated, her voice was cold as she spoke, eyes clearly trying to avoid mine. "It's worth the risk."

"No, it is not." I stepped closer to the blond. "Clarke. You can't send him in there. He could die."

Clarke finally met my gaze and shook her head. "If it were anyone else, you wouldn't have a problem with it."

"But it's not anyone else. It's Bellamy, Clarke." I seethed. "If they find him. They'll kill him."

"I'm sorry, Jo." Said Clarke. "It's what needs to be done."

"You're wrong." I shook my head.

Clarke brushed past me and held out a piece of paper to Bellamy. "My map of Mount Weather." My jaw was dropped as I looked between the two. Was he really doing this? Was Clarke going to let him? "Find a way to get on that radio and talk to us. Good luck."
