"What happened and what have you done with Cecilia?" I questioned as she jumped down the stairs, bright eyed and cheery. Her skin glowing and her face relaxed.

"Ha-Ha-Ha very funny." her dry tone cut through her joyful front, showing me the woman I've grown to know over the past few weeks.

"Is it because Ana will be here soon. If it is then I will be extremely offended because I'm great company." I said.

"There is no denying you're great company. But you're not Ana."

"Ouch." I said, but realistically, my heart glowed at her words. I knew she liked spending time with me, but it's always nice to hear it.

"Oh stop it." her voice went playful.

"You stop it." I shot back at her.

"Elijah." she sounded stern, but on the verge of laughter.

"Cecilia." I said back, matching her tone.

But before she could answer her head whipped round the sound of keys rattling in the door.

"They're here!" She exclaimed just as the door swung open,

"Hunny I'm home!" Atnus shouted, sending bolts of laughter from everyone mouths. Cecilia and Anastasia sent each other a questioning look. They are yet to get used to Atnus love of odd yet grand entrances.

However I was accustomed to it and the girls not understanding made our laughter deepen.

But It soon died out when we realised that the girls were staring. Their eyes darted from us to each other, carrying a level of concern at our humour.

"Anyway," Anastasia began, "I'm starving can we go get food."

"Ooo can we go to Il Fiore" Atnus begged, staring at me with foe puppy dog eyes.

"That's the fanciest place around here." I said, not entirely sure why he suggested it.

"We can call it a date." He says winking at Anastasia, then at Cecilia, then at me, all while running off before I had time to respond.

Anastasia quickly disappeared after him into the depths of my home, and I was left in the company of Cecilia. Her eyes met mine and her shoulders raised into a shrug as desire filled them. They lingered on mine for far to long before merely looking away innocently.

She had so little, yet so much self control.

She wants what she can't have and that's what's keeping our weird, unspoken relationship going. We don't speak of it. We just let it be.

Cecilia and Anastasia were perched on the back seat deep in conversation. It's like they haven't seen each other for years.
