Okay guys, this is how to write a terrible fanfiction. Light trigger warning, I make fun of dark shit in here.
Always incorporate some kind of cliche.
The easiest ones to master are:
-Abusive home for the character who it's about.
-The other character has power or is a total punk
-Coffee shop AUs
-Vampires
-Meeting a celibrity backstage and they slip you a number
-Mental disorders that mysteriously dissapear when you start dating
-Cutting
-Bully/victims
-Emo/popular
-Low self esteem
- "It's not you, it's me."
-Highschool AUs
-Everyone in your fanfiction is either homosexual or homophobic.
-If it's a heterosexual fanfiction, GAY BFF!
-Super caring, super understanding celibrities
-Abusive Relationships
-Adopted by _
-Kidnapped by _
-Dickbag ex boyfriend
-Bert McCrackhead and Oli Phych have to be evil. This is a must.
-Parents hate kid
-Insulting religeous people
-Unrealistic chain smoking. Trust me, YOU TOTALLY CAN SMOKE 5 PACKS A DAY AND NOT HAVE LUNG CANCER! SURE!
-Stockholm syndrome
-Getting out of the hospital way too early
-Acting like 12 year olds
-"OMG WEED'S GONNA KILL YOU IF YOU TRY IT ONCE!!11!!"
-Surviving deadly diseases
-Underappreciated characters are either villians or they die
-"And they all lived happily ever after."
Make absolute certain that EVERYBODY hates your main character and they have a HORRIBLE life but they need practically unlimited money to access merch and food and shit. Everyone must be douchey to them for no apparent reason. They also must be equipped with a large group of extremely childish friends that every depressed protagonist must have. They need to be depressed guys, it's super important.
Don't just include one though guys. Because one alone, your story can still turn out good. Some five with one or two of these are good. Make yours absolute dog shit.
