Even if you disappoint your readers, it isn't smart to write during a writer's block.

Rereading your story can help so you know where you're at.
Researching the setting to get a feel for it.
Watching interviews with the person, watching the show, etc.
And most importantly: Don't let the writer's block kill your story.
