Akina's POV

My mind that was filled with magic, stars and light, along with my heart feeling like it has sored out of my body, soon had to settle as Kurama and I pulled apart. His hand remained on my now no doubt reddened cheeks, and his other hand during our kiss hand settled itself on my waist. "You have no idea how long I have waited to do that again." Kurama whispers, making me tilt my head up at him as I whisper back, "Again?" Kurama slowly stepped back before he speaks again, "Forgive me Akina, but I have kissed you before. When you were in a coma that almost convinced the doctors to pull the plug on you...I was approached." My eyes narrow at this as I ask, "Approached?" Kurama sighs before guiding me towards the sofa and making me take a seat before he continues, "Yes I was approached, by a lady who I didn't know would be a bother to you. They told me that as long as no one with an ailment came to see you, I could use a special medicine that looked like honey. All I had to do was give it to you and you would be healed."

"There is only one lady that is associated with me that you haven't met. And only she knew of such medicine." I speak as I stare down at our hands still holding one another's. I heave out a sigh before saying, "You met Chiharu." I look up to see Kurama nod in response to my words. "She told me I could save you, and I desperately wanted you to live, so I listened. Now because of you being unconscious I needed to manipulate you into swallowing the medicine." Kurama speaks with his voice going quieter near the end. "Man...manipulate?" I whisper out, before I feel my cheeks go red before I whisper shout, "We french kissed?!" I remove my hands from his so that I could cover my face, which is no doubt resembling a tomato right now. "Oh my God! Oh my God!" I keep saying to myself, before I remove the hands from my face and look up at the ceiling. "The first kiss I have with the love of my life is when I'm unconscious and nearly dead?!" I whine out.

"I'm the love of your life?" I hear Kurama ask me, making me go silent and freeze.

I slowly lower my head before angling it toward the window so that I could see the very colorful sky undergoing transitioning. I whisper out, "I said that out loud?" I hear Kurama gasp and repeat himself, "I'm the love of your life." I lower my head as I speak to myself, "I keep quiet about Chiharu but not this? My head must truly be a mess." I feel the weight beside me shift before I hear Kurama speak again, "I'm the love of your life." I shake my head and place my palm to my forehead as I groan out, "Oh God, I am such a mess." And then the shock and self frustration shifted to annoyance once I heard Kurama say once again, "I'm the love of your life." I spin around with a glare on my face and hiss, "Yes you're the love of my life, Kurama! Why the hell do you keep repeating that?!" When I finish I take in the sight of his emerald eyes seeming glassy, staring directly at me. "I'm repeating because..." Kurama starts before he takes a deep breath before saying, "Because I always dreamed of you being with me. And now that you tell me that I am the love of your life...I have to remind myself this isn't a dream and that those words did come from the real you Akina." He takes hold of my hands before he leans closer to me and whispers, "You are the love of my life, too." I let the tears escape my eyes as soon as his whisper registered in my ears, and next thing I know, we are kissing again.
