Does this happens to everyone, or I am the abnormal person here.

The part where your inner conscience divides into two: angel and devil. Because mine currently are fighting with me, as soon as they heard about the exquisite details about the business meeting we will be heading for about in an hour or so.

So here's the shit that happened an hour ago. My mom gave me a call from downstairs for breakfast, to which I went down to the kitchen and to my surprise my dad was sitting as well. I grabbed my plate and seated myself, start digging in my food when I can feel my dad's stare boring holes in my head.

I guess he sensed that so he decided to speak after clearing his throat, "so I assume your mom told you about the business meet we are going to?" I simply nodded because I was in no mood for shouts, screams, and more lectures about how I needed to be put on a leash because I don't follow what my parents wanted me to do.

My dad continued, "I would like you to know that this is a meeting with Langfords, whom I convinced to invest in my forums and they agreed on a condition. The condition is my daughter gets married or least to say gets engaged to their one and only son."

That's it, I lost it when he said married and engaged kinda shit, trying to remain confused I almost gritted my teeth, "but what this has to do with me?" Dad replied with "everything. You are the one who is going to get married to their son. Apparently the Langfords also seem this as an ideal arrangement. So you are going to go on with the same and that is final. No questions asked."

I was irritated to an extent I just wanted to take a fork and jab it in my ears for hearing this shit "but why me, Kathy can do this, I mean she is the most ideal person to this actually if you see about her status."

I was actually pondering on this that why me and why not my younger sister Kathy, who turns out to be a model and can be more than perfect for this kind of shit. My dad sounded irritated because the next shit he said was hideous, "I don't want you to go around ruining my image, because what happened last year still goes in my mind. I still have the image of how you came back home in morning, so don't get on my nerve, young lady. You better do as I say or face the consequences, because Kathy has a stable career than you seem to have."

I was so fucking irritated by the statements, it almost hurt my head to why was I even listening to him in first place, and as if he mind read or some kind of shit he spoke again, "Mr.Langford clearly made a demand of having my elder daughter for the proposal, I don't know how he even knows about you but he clearly mentioned it to me so don't you even dare think about running away from this because I will have you dragged back on your knees and still get the arrangement done, throw you to Langfords and won't even give a shit about what they do to you because trust me you've already caused me enough headache by the scene created last year. So you don't get a choice this time. Do you get it?"

Who is this Mr.Langford and how does he even knows about me ?

My dad literally has the nerve of bring that every single time I try to have an conversation like an adult, like I myself was not even sure what happened and he had already made assumptions about that and to which Kathy had already added fuel to the burning flame. I was staring blankly ahead of me and thinking of ways I could fight back and get out of this situation.

My dad got up from his seat, got on to an eye-to-eye level to me and almost barked, "Do you get it?" I just simply nodded because my mind was not able to take in so many emotions and thoughts whirling in it.

Dad was about to walk out of kitchen when he turned and said, "good. You better follow this time, dress decent, make an impression, and don't fucking screw-up, cause this deal is important to me. Once you are engaged and the deal is signed, you are the responsibility of Langfords. Now get back to your room and get ready, we are leaving in an hour." And with that he walked out.
