Chris Langford
The door behind me shuts.
She right away walked out of the door without even sparing me a glance. Didn't even turned back once to look me in the eye. Fucking hell. I couldn't even comprehend to what had just happened, all I could figure out was that I drove to get her, when I picked her up and kissed those pretty lips of her she was normal, but moments later when we were back home she wants to call off, everything we ever had.
I didn't come to any of my fucking senses, we were fine, moments ago we were all cool and suddenly shit blows right off my face. I didn't even stopped her to ask about where she was going. As much as I know her, she won't be going back to Victor, then fucking where?
I stand where she left me for I don't know how long, but I was left there. Re-thinking our entire conversation. Her words stung like a thousand bees, straight to my heart. I fucking gave it to her and she blew it right off my face and left me to bleed. No warning, no justifiable explanations, just boom, she didn't wanted it anymore so she wakes up one day and decides to walk out.
My mind was going on in circles, each word ringing in my head, banging on the wall of my brain thinking there could be an answer to why all of the sudden out of blues, she didn't wanted it anymore. I wanted the answers, I wanted the god damn answers to why when everything was on track, so fucking beautiful like a Disney fairy tale coming true and all of it goes down some fucking flush because Hailey decided she didn't want it anymore.
I saw it in her god damn beautiful eyes, I saw it. All of it, the restraint, the longing, the love, everything was flashing right through her brown doe eyes , they why the fuck did she walk out on us?
The worst of it was the fact that it felt so fucking easy and cool on her part to just say it on my fucking face that she didn't want us anymore. There could be a million reasons and I fucking wanted to know all of them, her excuse that her life was waiting for her and all that shit- my ass.
Those were just some petty excuses, the real reason lied beneath those eyes, I wanted to catch it, catch her red-handed for lying, but the way she straight off lied to my face was a knife ripping my heart out off my chest in a single yet brutal cut.
I walk back to the bed, look at the time in my phone and sigh. Where did she even go at fucking 11:30 of night? I call her, I fucking call her, let the ringer complete but she doesn't answers. I should've known right? My dumbass should've known the reason of her not picking up my call so like an idiot I text her.
Hailey please where are you?
A full minute, no response, not even fucking seen, fucking flashed and ignored. Throwing the phone on the bed, I let out a frustrated sigh and run my hands on my face. Worry about her constantly eats me up, I know for a fact she won't go back to Victor but if not there then where? Picking up the phone I type again
please where are you? It's fucking midnight you are not safe out.
Again, no response, fucking ignored. The fuck she thinks she is doing by just packing a bag and leaving in the midnight to god knows where. I let the phone fall on bed again. Think Chris, maybe she needs space. That woman has lost her mind, she'll be back when she comes back to her senses, right? I fucking text her again.
If you need space, I'll give you, we can talk please.
Again, I throw the phone on the bed and groan. If she needed space, she should've explained it to me instead of just packing up and leaving, who the fuck does that Hailey? Annoyed I pick up the phone again.
