Hailey Robinson

I woke up and saw my hand entwined with Chris' hand.

The memories of the previous night rolls in front of my eyes and realization hits me in my freakin head. Chris kissed me and I kissed him back.

We kissed.

I look at our entwined hands and my cheeks go as red as they could. The kiss was delicate yet so alarmingly calming.

I took my free hand and ran my fingers on my lips. What will I give to have those lips on me again, I thought while my gaze landed on a peacefully sleeping Chris. He stirs slightly which gives me a chance and with that I remove my hand from his. He turns around to other side so his back is facing me and was still sleeping.

I get out from the bed and head to bathroom to freshen up and have a shower. While in shower my mind was replaying yesterday's events. Me and Chris showing up to his parent's house, his mom taking me with herself in the kitchen, the dinner and the room, me and Chris sleeping together, the kiss.

the kiss

the kiss

Maybe I should not think much on that as the kiss can be out of blue, who knows, he just felt like kissing and he did. But what about me, I liked it, didn't I? and I also kissed him back. will this one be the first and last time? Who knows?

It feels like I am already on my path of self-destruction and the road is being carved by Chris himself, because this one time where we sleep on the same bed and we kiss has already got me losing my sanity and looking for something new, something I'd like to explore, something I'd like to have or maybe I was looking for it the whole time but didn't get the chance to have a taste of it.

I need to stop overthinking was what I concluded. I got out of shower, got dressed and cameback to see Chris still sleeping.

I leave the room and head down for the kitchen. I see Nora-yes she told me to call her Nora because when I call her Mrs.Langford she said she feels old-pouring some coffee in a mug. I approach her working figure and give out a 'good morning' and she returns that as well. She tells me to have myself some coffee and I do the same.

We settle down on the table and sip on our caffeine. She asks me about Chris and I let her know that her son is still sleeping. She tells me another story about how Chris pranked some relatives by changing the whip cream with his dad's shaving foam, another one where Chris was 15 year old and while he was returning from his football practice he intentionally broke an annoying neighbour's window and on the ball it was written 'you are loud at night'. The lady almost called cops on Chris.

I've been hearing incidents like these since yesterday and I swear to god if you take a look at 25 year old Chris, these stories don't match to him. It feels like she maybe telling about some other chris, but no it was indeed him.

Nora also tells me about how girls used to be swooned by him and just to have a glimpse of Chris, they use to gather around the field to watch him play the ball even if it's just practice, and the cocky bastard Chris was, he used to practice shirtless, like literally just in his football shorts and shoes.

He was a star player on the team but after a certain match decided to drop out of his football career and after that no one saw that side of chris. These are way more hilarious and too good to believe that Christopher James Langford had been a prankster, a heartthrob, and a player in his previous years.
