Chris Langford
I was happy and at peace, maybe wrong words as I was unable to describe what I was feeling with the way things went between me and Hailey. And oh she agreed to be my girlfriend so I think I can in fact use the word happy. I had her with me snuggled under the blankets and with my arms around her.
Did I ever mention the adorable sight to my sore eyes when she was quick to get in my t-shirt, because that shit was cute as fuck.
The t-shirt was obviously big on her, one of her shoulder peeking from the neck line. She had her head on my chest and was absentmindedly running her fingers on my chest and my torso.
Thank god for the abs, as I am sure as hell she's having a great time trailing her fingers on them.
We keep on talking on small things about each other for some time and later she falls asleep with her one leg on me and a hand palmed on my chest. My mind wasn't letting me sleep as it was constantly playing the moments we shared for the day.
The thing I marked about her in the talk we had was, her childhood and some of her teenage years were blur to her. She doesn't remember her first kiss, or let alone the kiss, she barely remembers her childhood and that shit was even missing from the file my private investigator had sent me. Memories about her very own self are vague to her.
Hailey told me she secretly took boxing classes in one of her high school senior year because apparently her punching and kicking news went to her gym class coach and he made her do it.
So yeah fuckers, my girlfriend can punch the shit out of people but again this doesn't match her interest in medical field.
She did said she had her eyes set on medical since the beginning so pursued a career in the same even though her coach did tell her that she'd be a great boxing champion if she continues, but Hailey went for otherwise.
What a multi-talented girlfriend I've got, hashtag secretly proud.
But somehow my mood went a little bit sour when she said that she feels her family is toxic towards her. The only person holding the string was Mrs.Robinson otherwise the other three don't give a shit about each other. She even told me how she has a theory that something actually might have happened to her father that made the things between them cranky and dull.
The only thing that they were resisting was- biting off each other's head. This somehow explains why Victor or his family have never even once contacted or kept tabs on her after our stupid engagement was done. And also explains Victor's eagerness to getting Hailey married or more like cutting her off their life.
I had a strong gut feeling there is something more to this as my dad's words came at the back of my mind- about Hailey's long lost aunt. Maybe this aunt knows something that can explain this shitty household of Robinson's. Though Mrs.Robinson is nice but again there is something fishy about her behaviour as well.
Anyways, the only Robinson of my concern was the one lying in my arms, cuddling with me- Hailey Enna Robinson.
Sleep did come to me and I gladly welcomed it. I woke up to my side empty only to find out Hailey was already up and was in the kitchen working on our breakfast. I saw that she was already in her uniform and had her bag and coat sitting on the kitchen counter.
She does indeed lives like a robot, I hope things can change a little, not for me as for me they have already changed, I am wishing for her.
She didn't get that I had my eyes on her working figure so I silently approach her, wrap my arms around her waist from behind and plant my face in the crook of her neck.
