Victoria's Sister - Vol. 2

Chapter 21 ~ Dog House

  Jacob had the entire right part of his body shattered while trying to kill one of the extra newborns. Bella went to go visit Jacob.

Carlisle had come home from helping Jake.

"Is the wolf okay?" Oriana blurted out.

"Yes, I gave him some medicine but his body temperature will burn it off soon, he should be alright though." Carlisle explained putting his bag down.

"Ok," Oriana whispered turning the tv on.

"Do you care about the wolves?" Carlisle asked.

"Partially," Oriana responded.

"You should go and pay him a visit." Carlisle suggested, "You don't have to."

"No thanks, I'm pretty sure the last thing he wants is for me to be there. We don't get along, we aren't friends, and we are natural enemies, etcetera." Oriana explained.

Carlisle gave her a look and it was as if his eyes were saying, "Go say, 'I hope you feel better.' Or something to cheer him up.

"Ok fine, I'll go over to the dog house." Oriana groaned.

"Here," Carlisle gave her a bracelet. "It should help with the scent.

Oriana gave a slight smile.

{Over to the dog house I go} she thought to herself with sarcasm.

While on the way to to Jacob's house Oriana noticed Bella's car in the driveway. She also noticed wolves outside the door and Jacob's father who looked as if he was about to cry.

Oriana took a large breath, "Here it goes.."

She came out through the trees.

One of the wolves had her arms crossed and looked not too happy.

Bella walked out just as Oriana was approaching the door.

"Oriana? What are you doing here? I thought you hated the wolves-" Bella kept saying.

"Carlisle wanted me come." Oriana blurted out.

"But-"

"No further questions, please." Oriana told her cutting her off.

"Is he ok?" Oriana asked not wanting to.

"Yea he's fine." Bella said confused.

Oriana walked past the wolves and through the door.

Oriana found Jacob's room and leaned against the doorway.

"What are you doing here?" Jacob muttered.

"Carlisle wanted me to come over and say some stuff." She whispered.

"Go on them," Jacob murmured.

"Um.....how you feeling?" She asked.

"Not good," Jacob whispered.

"Get well soon," Oriana said with slight sarcasm.

Jacob scoffed, "Better than I expected I'll give you that."

Oriana made an annoyed face.

"I should go, get better." She said leaving the doorway.

"Hey Oriana, about your sister...sorry for your loss." Jacob whispered.

Oriana looked blank then looked down. She gave him a slight nod then left the room.
