It was less than a week to prom and neither Angel nor Tristan had a date yet. Although Angel kept receiving flowers, notes, gifts from anonymous people asking her to be their date. But she kept waiting for a miracle that would push Tristan to ask her. It was getting too late for miracles as it is just a few days to the prom and she still has no date.

They were currently eating in the cafeteria when Bill, Angel's old fake boyfriend walked up to her with a bunch of flowers and some group of people playing music. He got on one knee and soon students were gathering around.

"Oh dear," Angel whispers softly to herself.

"My lovely Angel..." Bill begins, with flowers in his hands and one knee on the floor.
"....we ended things in a very rough state and just as I have come to realize, I believe you have too, that we are best for each other and no one else can beat that..." He continues, students were already making videos, murmuring and all sorts.

Tristan watched in amusement from his end, the entertainment that Bill was displaying, he was actually enjoying this and he knew Angel would never stoop so low to accept.

"...yeah, so uh... Oh yes, will you do me the honor and go to prom with me?" He finished.

Some students laughed, some were making side comments. Angel just looked at him. For a moment she didn't know how to reject him as she searched her mind for the perfect thing to say.  She can't believe he has the audacity to ask her to prom even after what he did.

"Give me a very good reason why I should accept this..." she waves her hands around "...whatever this is" she ends, folding her hands.

"Uh, I'm handsome and you know it" he replied with a wink, an open mouth and his two index fingers playfully pointing at her.
"Also, come on. We'll make great prom Queen and King" he added, sounding like it was the obvious thing to do.

Angel sighed, shaking her head.

"You're really so dumb" she comments and people started to laugh.
"Look, I'd have loved to actually go with you, if you weren't so egotistic, thinking of yourself alone. In fact, if this were to be someone else, I'd actually care about what I'm about to say but to you Bill? Fuck you and read my lips, NO" She finished, spelling out the 'NO'.

There were laughter and camera shots everywhere.

"Yeah, well I was actually doing you a favor since your so called boyfriend.." doing the quote sign with his fingers "...dumped you, realizing you're a piece of sh-" he got a  punch before finishing his sentence.
There were sounds from the students and Angel was dumbstruck as to what just happened.

It was none other than Tristan, it always is Tristan and for a moment there they locked eyes. Not caring about the fuss he just created, he looked at her with so much love then as if he snapped or shifted into another  person, his eyes went from being filled with love to anger and rage.

He walks out of the cafeteria furiously leaving Bill with yet another bleeding nose.
Angel squats to where Bill was kneeling covering his bloody nose.

"You are still the bag of shit that you are, I believe those were the words you were trying to complete. I don't know what I've ever seen in you." With that she rose from squatting.
After taking one step, she paused and turned to Bill.

"You'd have made a good date but you're obviously a bad idea" she finishes and leaves the cafeteria in a complete disorder.

She quickly strolled the halls looking for Tristan but he was gone. She turned and saw her bodyguard, standing at the entrance of the cafeteria like a statue.
"Are you okay ma'am?" He asks out of the blue.
"Seriously? You didn't see what just happened?" She asked and he looked unaware or unsure of what Angel was asking.
"Oh I wasn't here, I mean- I just went out to take a leak" he replied and Angel just sighed.
Making her way to the classroom, hopefully she meets or even sees Tristan there.
