CHAPTER ELEVEN: THE NOTE

Tristan was so shock, it was like a dream to him. What was happening?

"What do you mean by who am I?" Tristan asked in between nervous chuckles.

"Well I don't know you" Angel replied.

Quickly her mom rushed to her.

"Angel darling, do you know who I am?" Her mom asked nervously.

"Of course, you're my mom" she replied. Then pointing to the rest "You're Cherry, Hailey, and dad" she said smiling.

The doctor came over to examine her and to find out what the problem was and it turned out she hit her head so hard and it affected a part of her brain and memory, causing slight amnesia. It was a miracle she survived but she couldn't remember Tristan because he's been with her for some weeks and he was the last memory she collected before the incident. And it turned out she can't also remember some days before her parents travelled to this moment.

"It may and may not take much time. It depends on how strong the memory was. She should have remembered but her brain is fighting it because her last memory was too painful, so she needs to be reminded and maybe something from the past that can trigger it, but please don't pressure her into remembering, else she might have full memory loss" the doctor further explains to them outside the room she was kept in.

"Thank you doctor" the mom said and turning to Tristan "I'll make sure she doesn't remember you. Now please leave. I'll send you your payment in full and make sure i don't ever see your face again" Angel's mom said and left Tristan angrily causing him to exhale out of frustration.

He stood by the door, while the others were inside. He was looking at Angel, who was smiling at his family but didn't even remember who he was.

At this moment, he was angry and knew he wanted her to never forget him because he likes her.

At least she is okay and safe now, turning around he sighed and left the hospital.

He didn't blame her Mom for reacting that way, she's just looking out for her daughter. He blames himself for everything.

If only he didn't allow them stay alone at the park, all this would have been avoided.

He went to Angel's house to pick his things and Jamie.

He explained to Jamie that they had to leave early because Angel's parent returned.

Packing their things, he couldn't get her off his mind.

Every inch of the house reminded him of Angel.

Grunting in frustration and anger, he was done and ready to leave. But before that, he decided to write down a note for her.

Hey,

I Uhm

He was writing, but grunted and squeezed the paper in frustration.

He picked another piece of paper and starts to write again.

Hey,

I don't really know what to write or where to even start from.
I'm really sorry I brought you so much trouble. I made a mistake, I should have been with you always, watch over you and never left your side.

I was trying so hard to fight what I feel for you, I try not to show it but I guess it's useless now.
You don't even remember me anymore and I'm not needed here anymore either.
If you ever find this note, just know I really care about you and not just as your bodyguard or babysitter.
