The day of the prom is finally here and it actually does feel like prom. The air was happy, her whole mood was screaming Prom! Prom! Prom! Oh and don't forget the nervousness in her gut.
If only she could predict how the prom will turn out, she might feel a little better.

Tristan was not even planning to attend the prom so that feeling wasn't part of his day. He was more excited about starting a job for the break for the few months before college. The idea of selling the house popped into his head once but he immediately drove the idea out. He hated himself for even thinking of that. But then again, the house needs to be looked after and since he'll be moving and Jamie is moving in with Austin, selling the house might actually be the best thing. But his parents....this was where he shared or experienced most of the memories with them. He must not sell the house, he told himself.
It'll be better to leave it off for Jamie. That way the house still lives.
His savings from babysitting was untouched. Additional thanks to his friend too for their support so college was not looking like a difficult thing. He wants to get a car at least so hence the job. Even though he really hates collecting money from his friends, sometimes they're so stubborn that he has no choice but to collect them.

Life is getting real for everyone and it seems adulthood is not as easy as the adults make it look, it seems like a piece of hell. Difficult is the word.

Hailey and Cherry slept at Angel's last night. As a last High School sleepover before facing college separately. Hailey and Cherry seem to be applying for the same college and even though they've tried their best to convince Angel into applying to the same school, she was glad she wasn't going with them. Not out of hate but she needed a new space, a new book completely because she wanted to be different and also better. She kept telling them her parents already applied to a different school to excuse herself from explaining the reason why she didn't want to attend the same college as them.
They were her girls, but they weren't as understanding or close as she needed them to be.

They were currently busy with their makeup and the dress up. It was still early, 2pm. Normal is when you get ready an hour prior to your appointment or outing but to these girls, you have to start way before the time. Which was good considering how messy, undecided and late they can be.
It was awkward that her date was currently under the same roof as her. Normally, your date drives to your house with a flower, wearing their best perfumes and so happy to see you. But in her case, she only needs to get dressed and come downstairs.
It's fine, Angel. It's fine.

3...4...5...6....7pm.

Angel was wearing a blue fluffy full length gown, the chest was a crossed tied style to the neck. It opened back from her neck to waist. She paired them with black heels, set her hair loose and curled. Falling on her shoulders perfectly, with a red lipstick that made her stand out. She looked priceless and nervous. This wasn't her ideal prom, she wanted it to be with someone she shared her heart with at least. Although the Angel from the beginning would have probably gone to the prom with a guy she doesn't like but o my want to look good with and also win the prom Queen. But she's different now, changed.
She thinks of others and not just herself anymore. Sometimes she wishes she was still the old emotionless Angel because her life seemed less complicated then. But after all she's gone through and with the person she grew to like? She would never trade that.
The girls were all so happy and cheerful, for a moment life was sweet and kind to her. The girls took a bunch of selfies. Scratch that..... thousands of selfies, videos. They were all over the place with excitement and Cherry kept uploading them to her socials, Angel was exhausted already.

They got ready, finally.

The girls went downstairs before her, she excused herself and looked at herself in the mirror. "You are the fucking Angel of East High" she said to herself.
Lance stood downstairs with everyone. She walked down beautifully and got compliments from everyone. Truly, she was beautiful.
Lance looked good in his tuxedos as well. Few minutes later, they drove off to school. The school compound was crowded and lively. Music was playing in the background, foods and drinks everywhere. Students were all dressed in different colors, styles and it was a beautiful sight.

"What?" Tristan asked for the hundred times. Nathan and Jamie were behaving weird and strange. Austin hasn't shown since morning and the rest kept behaving weirdly. Asking if he was okay than usual, telling him not to eat too much and all that. Shortly, Austin arrived with bags of shopping. Austin and Nathan had their own prom in two days so this was all about Tristan.
Austin got them new suits, ties and got himself a shoe.
"I told you guys I wasn't going, already" Tristan complained. But they weren't having any of it. "Our prom is two days' time, you'll be there, we've been through a lot this year, we deserve this fun time and if for anything, do this for him" Nathan says, they all immediately knew Him was Dylan. Tristan smiled and nodded.
They get dressed half an hour later and head to Tristan's school. Of course, typical Nathan wanted to go there for the girls, apart from the other reason. But yeah, the girls.
Austin just wants to have fun and also get to see Cherry. Their relationship didn't last a week. Cherry was way over his niche. He wants something real but Cherry just wants a fling. It would've worked that way with Nathan but not Austin.
