CHAPTER THIRTEEN: JEALOUSY

School was finally over and Tristan didn't want to spend another minute in the same room with Angel whom he couldn't talk to anymore.

He turned to get a glance of her and was shocked when he found her talking and laughing with the Fred kid.

His blood began to boil, he clenched his hands into a fist.

Why am I jealous?

He thought, but as he tried to relax he noticed the new guy was flirting with her. Now, he couldn't take it anymore.

Walking up to them, he grabbed Angel by the arm and dragged her outside

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Angel shouts at him yanking her arm away out of anger.

"You don't even know him and you're laughing at whatever he's saying" Tristan replies, looking at her in the eyes.

"And I know you? Can you just hear yourself?" Angel says, in between funny chuckles

"Yes you know me Angel. You just can't remember" Tristan said, concern in his voice.

"Stay the hell away from me, or else I'll report you to the cops and trust me you won't like it one bit" Angel shouted at him and turned angrily and walked away, making Tristan drop his head out of shame.

Whatever chance he had, he definitely just ruined it.

He thought to himself.

Walking to the side of the entrance of the classroom he saw Angel sitting on the table talking to the new guy and she seemed okay.

He didn't want to ruin her day anymore so he left them and started heading home.

With pain in his heart.

Angel watched Tristan leave and then she exhaled.

Someone cleared their throat and Angel turned to see it's the new guy.

"Uhm I hope you settled things with your boyfriend?" He said and that made Angel chuckle.

"Nooo, no no he's not my boyfriend. In fact, I don't even know him. Look it's a long story" she replied, picking her bag.

"Oh, Uhm guess its personal then" Fred replied.

They walked out, talking.

"Uhm I'll see you around then Angel" Fred said, as Angel open the door to Cherry's car.

"Goodbye Fred" she replied smiling.

Driving off, Fred got on his bike and drove off too.

"You should be nice to him Angie, he's Tristan for God sake" Cherry said, over the phone with Angel.

"Look, I don't know the guy and I really hate people that are bossy" she replied and that caused Cherry to clear her throat.

"What? I'm not bossy" Angel said after

"Uh yeaaa-"

"Whatever, gotta go. I'm tired and want to shower" Angel said cutting her off.

"Okay then. Talk later"

And they ended the call.

Angel walked to the bathroom to shower and as she did that, the thought of Ace kept crossing her mind.

Why can't I remember him?

Who on earth is he?

She asked herself, drowning in thoughts.

Tristan was with Dylan and the rest, playing video games but his attention was somewhere else.

Angel

"Hey dude, what's on your mind? You're losing big time" Austin laughs and Tristan just shrugged, dropping the pad

"Look, I'm gonna go sleep"

And with that he left to his room.

The boys knew something was wrong but they decided to give him some time to relax.

It was almost a week already and things got harder for Tristan to see Angel with the new kid and worse, she doesn't even remember him yet.

He didn't want to just give up without a fight but again this seems like a fight he may never win because Angel doesn't even know him and that hurts him badly, but what could he do other than fighting. He had grown to yearn for Angel's presence in his life and he couldn't help it.

It was lunch period and Tristan as usual was sitting alone, when some girls walked past him muttering words that he could pick some

Girl 1 "I heard Angel dumped him"

Girl 2 "wow, that's very bad and he must be heartbroken"

Girl 3 "Yea, whatever"

Tristan didn't say anything but just ate and left when he was done.

"I am not leaving you alone anymore, not ever again"

Angel's mom said in disagreement.

"Mom come on, aren't you taking this a little too far?"

Angel argued, sitting on the dining and having her lunch.

"Come on sweetheart, one accident alone doesn't mean you can't let her live her life anymore"

Her Dad added. Causing Angel's mom to glare at him.

"Is there something you two are not telling me? Seriously"

Angel asked and they both looked at each other before her Dad spoke

"You didn't get stabbed in the supermarket" her Dad said and then went ahead to tell her everything.

"Why the fuck didn't you two tell me this earlier?"

"Watch your language young lady"

Her mom scolded.

"You were in a shock and the doctor advised, its best you remember on your own"

"Yea, but you two lied to me" she said angrily and left for her room.

Her parents had a trip to make for another month and her mom wasn't ready to leave her and now that she knows what truly happened, that she was kidnapped but was rescued by her bodyguard, the guy she can't seem to remember, she wants to know everything badly. She was determined to bring her memories back.
