I'm pretty sure she's quite upset about this. I mean, she literally can't pursue her dreams now especially in this condition. She's 19, yet way more matured than I am now.
"Joshua, do you have any hobbies ??" she then asked
"Of course" I chuckled
"I've always play a guitar during my free time and even did some reading if I can" I added
"That's nice" said Sophia followed by a smile
"What about you ?" I asked her
"I have quite a lot if you ask me" she giggled
"But mainly, I'd say drawing or painting. Maybe singing as well ?" she added
"Were you an art student by any chance ?? You seemed to have a lot of interest in art" I asked her
"Correct ! And since you are befriending my cousin and besties, you probably know Seokmin oppa" she replied
"Oh ? You also know Seokmin ?" I asked as I was surprised
"Yup ! Seokmin oppa is from the same school that I enrolled in. We're not exactly close, but we're friends to say the least" she replied
"Well that made sense" I responded
"I heard from Kwannie you guys are in a big circle of friends. How did all of you meet ??" Sophia asked
"A school festival ? I don't know how to explain it, but ever since that day we've been close" I replied
"I see. Must've been nice" she responded
"Don't you have any other friends beside them ?" I asked her
"I do. 2 of them" she replied
"That's great" I responded with a smile
"I really wish to go out with them, but my condition isn't going to make anything better" she chuckled sadly
