Something I just realized about S3 is that since it's a summer camp-based season, how are they going to incorporate music in a semi-normal fashion? Obviously, since the show resembles real life, they can't just break out into song without a reason (there is always some kind of reason for a song, even if it does seem unrealistic [Miss Jenn's job or Howie randomly singing in a pizza shop]).

I could imagine how it would go: possibly something similar to Nini singing All I Want or Ricky's Let You Go (just them in their rooms working on a song). And probably campfire songs (a classic situation).

Everyone's jaw dropped. They could not believe this was happening. After the shock wore off (at least from their faces), they greeted the High School Musical icon with open arms.

"Ok, changing the schedule around was totally worth it," Dara gushed.

"Sorry I couldn't tell you," Tim apologized. "I didn't want to ruin the surprise. And this was the only time that worked."

"Oh my god, of course!" Sofia gushed. "You don't have to apologize."

After greetings were exchanged, Tim quickly showed her the page of the script where her part was. The cast whispered to themselves about how exciting this surprise was.

"Now that you're here, we're gonna take a quick break," Tim announced.

"Great, I haven't been here in... God, who knows how many years," Kaycee chuckled. "I'm gonna go on a little tour... if anyone would like to join?"

Frankie jumped at the opportunity. "Oh my god, yes!"

Eventually, it was decided that Dara, Joe, Frankie, Julia, and Larry were going to walk around East High with Kaycee while the rest took a break.

Olivia approached Joshua nervously. She tapped his shoulder and mumbled, "Hey, ready?"

He turned around and said, "Ready for what?"

"The song," she explained simply. "We're turning it in."

"Are we?" he said, scratching the back of his head. "Is that today?" His voice was growing higher.

"Yes. Now stop that or else you'll convince me to put it off."

"So it's working?"

She lightly hit his arm. "Stop it," she scolded.

He gave up the act. "Fine. You have the flash drive?"

Olivia's face dropped. "I thought you said you'd bring it."

"I don't have it," Joshua shrugged.

"Oh my god. Are you serious?" She began panicking. "You can't be serious."

"I'm not," he chuckled, pulling it out of his pocket. "I was hoping you'd say we could put off turning it in if I didn't have it."

She snatched it from his hand before something could go wrong. "We're sending it in today because I don't want to keep fine-tuning every little mistake; I'm starting to drive myself insane."

"I'm sorry," he said honestly. Olivia holds her straight face, not entirely thrilled with his little joke. "Please forgive me. Pleeease," he pleaded harder.

"You look like you're five years old," she mumbled, her smile beginning to break through.

"So... does that help or hurt my case?"

"You ready to give this to Tim?"

Joshua felt a little guilty. "Wait, are you actually mad?"

"No, of course not."
